Happy to hear that as this review's posting that Sony will no longer enforce the PSN account requirement for PC players.
The game itself is very fun, and provides plenty of hours of entertainment for you and your buddies. Get it now, it's worth it.

Persona 3 Reload was one of my most anticipated games of this year, and now that I've played it it's definitely cementing that spot for my own personal GOTY. With the all new added story elements and inclusion of full voice acting for many of the important story beats and the side content, a lot of the in-dungeon gameplay mechanics have also been overhauled to match Persona 5s as well, leading to a more streamlined combat experience - (mostly) without all the BS.

The new voice cast definitely took some time to get used to, but even the more questionable voice changes Yukari definitely won me over, with wonderful performances from the excellent cast of characters that had even left me going as far as missing them well after the game was over. The music too - oh man! Lotus Juice and the new vocalist knocked it out of the park with many of the tracks, with ones like It's Going Down Now and Color Your Night that have been stuck in my head well after the game was over.

Persona 3 is a must play for people that enjoy JRPGs. The story is definitely a lot more darker than the future entries, and may leave some players uncomfortable, but I cannot recommend it highly enough and to just stick with it. You won't regret it.

This game is awful. The characters are awful and there's possibly zero redeeming qualities about them. You'll probably feel like ♥♥♥♥ after playing it.

It's kinda funny though, so I say ♥♥♥♥ it dude.

Even after playing this game for about four times already, you'd still catch me booting up a 5th play-through immediately after beating the previous one. Persona 5 Royal improves so much that its predecessors introduced and is arguably one of the best entries throughout the entire game series. The game provides a mixture of a slice of life sim, interwoven between JRPG style dungeon crawling so well that one section of the game never overstays it's welcome. Along with an absolutely memorable soundtrack, fun cast of characters and impressive visuals that that pop out, you'll find that once you finish your potential 100+ hour playthrough - you'll just be wanting for more.

As a person that really enjoys FPS games, movement shooters has definitely been a genre that has slowly been seeing a resurgence with games like ULTRAKILL, DOOM 2016/ Eternal, and, now this game. The game is composed of missions that contain multiple levels that all require you to kill monsters in order to complete the level, all while being as fast as possible. Your arsenal comprises of skill cards found throughout the level that act as multiple guns, and can be discarded to grant yourself movement abilities. Simple concept to grasp, but you'll be definitely finding yourself replaying these levels over and over again to challenge yourself and obtain higher ranking medals, and being able to improve your times finding crazy ways to break the bounds of the game is an addicting feeling.

In between missions, there is a hub world that allows you to interact with various NPCs and create bonds with them (Kinda like a visual novel), in order to unlock lore or just fun scenes with certain characters. A lot of people don't really like these sections of the game (and the writing and dialogue is definitely hit or miss, totally written toward a younger age group) but I honestly think that it's a nice wind-down from all the crazy highs after doing the missions and some of the scenes you get with your buddies can be kinda charming. Even then, the shooting is just what makes this game so fantastic, and I cannot recommend this game enough.

Also, the music is f'ing amazing if you're a fan of electronic breakcore / drum n bass. Catch me still listening to it well after I 100% the game weeks later.

Early Access Review
The game can provide endless fun with friends and with the large amount of content that is being released for it, you can essentially play this game forever - especially with a dedicated VR setup. However, I can't in good conscience give this game a good recommendation because of the upcoming update that essentially blacklists all mods. For a game that encourages creativity, it's a big shame that they've essentially stifled one of the largest VR modding communities out there just so they can provide an solution that -may not- even solve the issue they're trying to fix? C'mon, man...

Dying Light 2, in my opinion, was pretty fun, but at the same time still had plenty of issues, too. While some gameplay elements definitely expand a lot the already existing stuff the first game had to offer and even go as far as add new fun stuff to play with, there are other aspects that I feel like do kinda don't really get expanded on or just more or less feel like a downgrade from the first game, especially with something like the story.

If you liked the first game, you'll most likely like this one, but you're better off waiting for more patches because at this moment the game is a buggy mess, along with co-op barely functioning half the time.

One of the best games to be given to us before the year ended. OMORI turned out to be one of those games of that really gripped me with its great story, fun characters, simple yet elegant visuals, and of course, banger soundtrack. If you've got time for a potential 25+ hour turn based RPG, are a fan of the Earthbound/Mother games, and can handle all the very dark themes and imagery the game throws at you - it will prove to be an amazing experience. (in my opinion.)

PS: Check in on your friends, and don't forget to water those plants.

After originally playing Persona 4 Golden on my PS Vita back in 2013, and with over 100+ hours clocked into my first playthrough alone, I can honestly say that I will be picking this game up again. The introduction of this brand new PC port adds a lusture to an already amazing game. If you're a big fan of turn based JRPGs, dungeon crawlers, and slice of life elements, and have plenty of free time to invest into it - I can't recommend this game enough..
