This game is the coolest fighting game I've ever played. It's personality shines brightly through every character, stage, song and intro. There is rollback netcode, great customisation and the most thoughtful and intelligent training system I've ever encountered in a fighting game. This game gives you so many reasons to play it (looking at you MK1) and helps you get better (looking at you SF6). The FGC shouldn't have to be inaccessible by nature and this game is proof that you can make a game that stays true to itself while appealing to many different people.

Tekken 8 is a masterpiece.

This game is incredible. One of the best RPGs I've ever played because it does everything an RPG should do to an incredible standard.

Hopefully they fix act 3 though, its the only thing that stops me from giving this game even more praise. Would recommend. Would also recommend you get a fan cos this game will make your computer run hot.

Gonna preface this by saying I've never played an Armored Core game before this one, however, I've been a long time fan of FromSoft's games and have played every title of theirs from Demon Souls to Elden Ring.

Pros - The power fantasy is there from the start, you begin in a mech that has infinite customisation, you can fly around and blow ♥♥♥♥ up. No need for levelling up or upgrading weapons, you change parts out and fly into the next mission. It is a lot more forgiving than most souls titles, while having the difficult boss-fights that the devs are known for. The insane level of customisation allows you to build ACs for all purposes, you can build one to fit your play-style, one to fight in the arena and many more just to counter the boss that's giving you a hard time.

Cons - The story feels cryptic and there isn't much detail in the world due to the scale of everything (However, some of the vistas you see when you slow down during a mission are beautiful.) You get most of your exposition and world-building through dialogue in the base and dialogue on missions. Unfortunately, I found myself missing a lot of important information about the story because I was preoccupied with flying around killing mechs and trying my best not to die.

While it may not be the best in any single category, Armored Core 6, from a purely game-play perspective, is the most fun FromSoft game I've ever played. I never felt like I was being held back during a mission or a bossfight for not having the right equipment and the freedom I felt flying around taking out hordes of robots is unmatched. Would recommend.

Tekken 7 has an extremely deep combat system that goes beyond button mashing, creating exhilarating scenarios in duels that are unmatched by most fighting games i've played. Also the variety of unique characters combined with the endless customisation makes this game feel very personal and for that alone i'd give this a 7 out of 7

Season 4 has been fantastic and refreshing with the introduction of rollback netcode as well as new moves for the entire roster!

A truly wonderful game that builds a mysterious and immersive world which absorbs you completely.

This game is artful and thought-provoking, with fleshed out characters occupying a truly immersive dystopian world.
You wake up as an alcoholic detective with no memory of your past and from then on it is up to you, the player, to decide what kind of person you want to be.

Disco Elysium is a tremendous achievement in narrative and design, and should be considered a fine argument in favour of the question "Should video-games be considered art?", because very rarely do you find something this unique and enriching.
