Really fun fighter, "Stylish mode" is a god-send for people who don't wanna play the game competitively.

A light Survival Game, honestly for what it is it's a solid 9/10.

The game is SLOW, and most of the gameplay is harvesting stuff from the land(Dysmantling things!) - so long as you're aware of that, it's an absolute blast.

Everything is nice and simple, and it's not punishing at all.

The story is interesting, though some may say a bit generic, but I liked it a lot.

Pretty much every thing you do gives you xp(Yes, collecting things gives you XP, it's the name of the game), so you're always progressing no matter what you're doing.

Combat is simple, you have two attacks and a dodge roll, but it works. Sometimes simple is better and here it clearly shows.

This game also has the best minimap / map I've ever seen. As a person who regulary gets lost both in games and in real life, i've NEVER gotten lost in Dysmantle, due to the insanely detailed map. Whoever made the map needs a raise, 10tons!

My biggest gripe with this game is the soundtrack - the fact that, there is none. I feel like with a well produced soundtrack and some steller voice acting, maybe some improvment on the writing, this game could have went from a fun little indie game to game of the year 2021 IMO.

So, there are so many games out there that try to copy the absolutely amazing Slay the Spire.

And I think, Monster train is the game that got it right, and made it better.

If you're looking for Slay the Spire++, you've got it here. Absoultely wonderful game with TONs and TONS of content.

A hidden gem - The only "bad" thing about this game is it's so much fun you'll be disappointed when it ends.

It's hilarious, fun, and very very satisfying. A bit on the 'easy" side, but that's 100% a good thing, sometimes you want a game that you can just burn through without too much issues.

The whole "Buy up the entire nation of hawaii" is also very interesting - The economic system is bare bones(You have a fixed "Income per day" counter, that grows slightly whenever you do something positive towards your business, I don't think it ever goes down), But, it's what makes it work so well. Investing early yields great rewards later on, though the system is tied to do the heart of the game(The way it should be), there are moments in the game where you're forced to invest/purchase property.

A lot of economic games tend to be menus upon menus, but Shakedown Hawaii heavily simplifies the "business" side of things, but at the same time puts it front and center in the game. Comparing it to games like Moonlighter, where the shop aspect is just there to be "different" from the ye old rogue like, The Shakedown Hawaii Economy is heavily tied to the story,, gameplay and pretty much everything else in the game. A lot of things you do in the game will effect your "Income per day" which you want to constantly push it up and up and up.

So if you wanna play a washed up CEO who wants his seat of power back by any means necessary - this is 100% the game for you.

My only comment against this game is, I wish there were more things to do outside of missions. Don't get me wrong, there is PLENTY of missions around, and you won't get bored until the end of the game, but there are moments in the game where you just wanna make a TAD bit more money to get that upgrade or buy that building, and other then free roaming around causing mayhem and waiting for the day to pass so your income per day ticks up, there's not much else to do.

A straight forward platformer with absolutely brilliant level design.

Very unique levels, very creative levels, and the difficulty is just perfect. Pretty challenging, but not punishing(You have infinite lives and can keep trying over and over)

A solid 10/10 for me.

Classic metrodvania, redone in a more modern style :).

A short, but absolutely amazing gem.

Heavily inspired by hotline miami IMO(Similar story-line AND gameplay), but it's unique enough that it's not a clone.

Extremely good, very underrated. 10/10.

Probably one of the best dragon ball fighting games ever - However single player is very weak.

If you have friends who are into fighting games, this is a must-buy.

If you're semi-interested in fighting games, this is one of the best games to get into, since it has some of the easiest controls(Altough there is STILL a steep learning curve)

As with most other fighting games, you WILL be decimated online if you don't put in a bit of time in practice mode.

The AI is pretty good, and perfect for casual players - random arcade mode is also very fun. But "Story mode" is "eh" at best.

A mixture of an RPG and a rogue like, with really good humor.

The game is brutally hard, but only if you let it!
