A great and amazing game historicly.
Personally because of my stubbernous i missed a few helpfull weapons that i could have used during the gameplay (mostly used shotgun and the rifle)
And the movement is a personal - for me but this game whas groundbreaking at the time and still is so much fun to play

Im not a man of word's so il keep it simple, is it fun? Depends on your gameplay, tacticly dividing your resources and planning ahead are a must but it can sometimes be quiite boring travilling

Pros:

*Pretty graphics, not the smoothest but combined paints a pretty picture
*Simple to understand gameplay
*for people that are into space epxloration the first hour or 2 realy give you a feel of being on another eath like planet
*Resource rationing, the more you take the less you have. The closer minerals you take the further you have to go to get new ones wich also force you to get ugprades for example:oxygen tank,expended backpack
*Survival orientated
*Not many resources needed, game can run on lower end systems

Cons:
*Quite simple
To generate energy you simply have to plop down a windmill/other energy producing appliances, you dont have to connect them at all meaning you can mine a iron far away, immidietly plop down a windmill and obtain 1 free energy.
There is also no maintenance, the dust storms do no damage/no enviromentel effect. To give a example on mars the sand is so microscopic it would clog up machines fast if it hasn't been upkept. Comets also dont damage any of your equipment
*small map
The map looks big if you begin but once you explore it it becomes pretty much the same
*pathfinding is still a bit akward
*No production capabileties
There is no way to produce parts or resources, any resource has to be scavenged
*no effect upon running out of oxygen(no game over)


All in all if the full game released with a price over 15/20$ i suggest you dont buy it. It's fun but can bore realy fast if you aren't creative

game is quite, fun, a bit hard to get used to, but still, fun for just joining in going pew pew and going out after a few minutes

the developer is a different story



should you get this game? yeah it's ok but i won't ever see myself playing more than half an hour at a time

alot of fun
very casual

can be played for hours on end with friends
no in game purchases, only thing how to spend money is to donate to servers

cons:
might take 10 minutes to downlaod
if you are the competetive type, this might not be the thing for you
it's free so you can be matched versus a player with a thousand or one hours

was dat? 14 cav regiment and 5 inf vs 18 inf and 2cav on steppes at horde? defeat, you fight a horde made of infantary on a mountain? defeat, worst combat system

recently i have been burned out by alot of games the BS of cs go, tf2 being milked dry and many more games getting very stale (i supose around 5k in hours is alot) banished is something different, no rushing against enemies no anoyying team mates, just you, your village and the stunning nature, realy calms my head

came for the hat, stayed for the game
