hurted a LOT

I've played Signalis three times through on the Switch version, plus once more for a friend to watch.

Every time, I am deeply affected by the fact that this game makes me want to weep violently, throw up, and then die.

I adore the game. I can't say anything else.

I thought the insanely predatory microtransactions were bad. Locking new teams behind battle passes is actually not that egregious to me- it's just the DLC model in a modern format. It's whatever. The microtransactions being on a per-player basis is so bad that I genuinely thought it was a bug. As a matter of fact, it IS bugged: I have troll cosmetics being used on a team I deleted that I cannot use on the new team I made.

I thought, okay, this js bad, but bearable. I can live with it. I drop hundreds of dollars on art for my DnD characters.

The always-online, servers-needed aspect broke me. For those out of the know: EVERY MENU needs to be loaded separately. Create a team? New menu. Store to buy $10 of hats for your orcs? New menu. Hit the wrong team? Load a new menu. Want to play? Menu. Launch a game? Menu.

It boils my blood, because underneath all of this extraneous nonsense is a very competent sequel to Blood Bowl. Cheerleaders and coaches are back! The commentary is funny! I genuinely have fun with it! It's just being buried alive under this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
