Ah... Yes... Being told that the game is better now, only for the ladder to immediately match me in game 2 with a team that's multiple games in and has a TV more than 300k over me, only to not allow me to hypnogaze from the control wheel with Eldril Sidewinder until there's only 5 seconds left in my first turn! We're having fun!

Look... I love Blood Bowl, and if you've got some friends setting up your own League, this is a *GREAT* way to play Blood Bowl. But, if you don't have that? Go play on Fumbbl for free. It is that simple. Better UI, better controls, and has full access to all Blood Bowl 2020 teams. Otherwise, you're paying extra every few months just to have access to the current teams, and hoping that the next season will add the teams you may want to play. Only to then be tossed into what is, frankly, the worst matchmaking algorithm that I've ever seen in an online game.

This game has come a long way and to me is now the pre-eminent way to play Blood Bowl. 2020 rules are well implemented, most of the teams are in the game, and while the cosmetics are still a bit.. not great, the gameplay is, and that's what matters.

So... Where to begin... Blood Bowl 3 is now at a decent stage gameplay and UI wise. I bought it for 20€ and I do not regret it, been lots of fun, hence the positive recommendation. Being able to unlock the new teams coming out for free is great I must say, but there is the issue of FOMO applied, which I'm not a massive fan of. Now, my BIGGEST problems stem from one very simple thing: the Micro-transactions and premium currency. They have no place in a game like this where I am 90% sure nobody will be buying Warpstones for the cosmetics (except a few I guess). And honestly, they shouldn't. Rewarding this type of egregious method of trying to milk the already small fan base. This is how you alienate fans and you won't be getting in new players when they know that they can't unlock any of the previously released teams without buying 10€ worth of warpstones (which, in very classic/predatory Premium Currency fashion, is too much for a team (1050) and 5€ worth (500) is not enough for a team (they cost 750 each). Yes, you CAN get warpstones through playing, but the grind to be able to purchase ANY team is there. I'm hoping that with the new EU regulations on premium currency, this will change soon, but how likely is that really. I will continue playing and I will continue avoiding the premium currency ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I would probably be a lot less against it if the pricing wasn't as ludicrous.
