Runs extremely well even on epic video settings. So polished this could have been 60 € game.
Needs more gamemodes though

Unplayable until they add lobby chat and in-game voice-chat. They decided to create a Co-op game without way to communicate with other players?

Remnant 2 is an excellent game overall, with its engaging gameplay, intricately designed world, and challenging combat. But there's a significant drawback: it lacks in-game chat and voice chat features.

The core of Remnant 2 is its cooperative play, and the absence of effective communication tools with random players hampers this aspect. This omission results in frustrating experiences, as it becomes nearly impossible to coordinate strategies and interact meaningfully.

While the game excels in many aspects, the lack of communication features negatively impacts the cooperative gameplay. The best way to enjoy it is with friends who also own the game because teaming up with random players often feels like working alongside silent and uncoordinated teammates.

Another minor issue worth mentioning is the inability to access your inventory or the menu while spectating a teammate. If the developers address these issues, Remnant 2 has the potential to reach even greater heights.

As of now its just okay and has a lot of potential but it seriously needs total audio overhaul, since it's heavily dragging the game behind. There are also some other major problems.

Main audio issues:
- Absolutely zero ambient sounds, makes the world sound dead and empty
- Directional audio sucks, difficult to hear enemy or teammate position
- Every weapon sounds extremely weak and are lacking the punch
- Explosives sounds weak
- Vehicles are almost silent
- You can hear bullets whistling right next to your ear even if you are inside a building and 10 meters away
from the actual bullet trace

Other problems:
- Game is little bit too fast-paced and chaotic
- There is no mini-map, makes the game even more chaotic
- UI is horrible
- Menu design looks simple but feels too complicated
- Weapon attachments are difficult to compare, since they give +0,04 to accuracy, or -0,05 to reload speed
and same time some other attachment might give +1 to some other stat. There are too many decimals which
gives a feeling that it doesn't matter which attachments you choose. Also in-game you don't feel any
difference between the chosen attachments
- Maps are complicated and there are usually no enemy fronts. Players are just running all around the map and
dying from a bullet that came from God knows where
- Occasional freezing in main-menu

Positives:
- It's chill to play, cant take too seriously
- Community is nice
- Voice chat is fun (Once met a Music man that just blasted banger beats all around the battlefield)
- It seems to work well, no game-breaking bugs
- No game pass or major content locked behind the paywall
- Play-to-win, not pay-to-win

In the game, players navigate a dungeon filled with monsters before battling a final dungeon boss. The game has qualities of a puzzle as players must find the best methods to use items, spells, and upgrades to reach the final boss without losing too much of their character's health. -Wikipedia

This game looks and feels very simple at first since you only need mouse1 when clearing those dungeons out of those filthy monster scums. But the thing is, you wont get far if you try to kill every enemy that crosses your path just by smacking their goblin faces with your mighty sword. You need to think a few steps ahead and make a gameplan about how to get the best use out of your items and not waste any tiles while trying keep you health and mana high enough to be able to keep pushing forward.

Extremely addictive, but difficult game and even if you don't like the artstyle, i still recommend to try this out, atleast if its on sale. Even better if you grab it right now since its free! I have not tried the 3D HD version, but it looks very good.

Probably one of the games of all time.

Note: I did not get this for free, but 9,99 € for GOTY-edition is a steal. Go for it!

Mafia gaming

Lack of maps, unfair weapon assignments and huge amount of cheaters, that's what this game is made of. Sadly other BF games aren't any better.
