Very good so far.
Core gameplay mechanics seem to be in place and working. It seems to have some depth without unnesessary complexity.
Spiritually its a Rimworld (NOT a blatant copy, which is good) with less social ineratction and a bit more action and mobility (battleship warfare, with NPCs fighting each other as well). Ship building is neat. Controls take some time to get used to, but manageble.
Very few bugs for an early release (in fact after 6 hours, multiple jumps, boarding actions and all the structuress so far built, saw only 2 instances of the same bug- AI froze while scattering a derelict, was remedied by manual command).
Interface is nice, some additional early game hints would be nice, but thats easy to fix (gamestart tutorial is seamless and informative enough, prob was just me missing smth).
Music is gentle and not irritating so far.
Visual style is excellent.
Price is fair.
It takes only 200 Mbs of space =)

Game has potential and the devs seem to tace care of this Project.
Will play more and deffinetly recommend to others.

Ok, bought this game in early access. That was quite... dissapointing. After 20 hours of bugs, glitches and shatters, had no desire to play it at that sad state.

So... almost a year later, what can I say?
Since aprox January 2019, the game has made great improvements in all aspects: optmization, gameplay, content, quality of life improvements. The devs seem to listen to the community and in general, are moving in the right direction.
Updates have also been quite frequent and valuable, with even more cool stuff in the works.

In genearl, I feel that the game is more than decent and well worth the price, with constant support, enhacement and improvement from NWI. Having almost 600 hours in the previous Insurgency game, I think this is a great successor to the title.

I've been watching the development of this poject for about 5 years (even played the Homeworld mod) and sometimes I thought all is lost, but here it comes to Steam.
Long story short- the game has everything to become a winner,
Space battles alone are worth the price of the game.
Sure, it has flaws, thee is A LOT to be added and polished, but still, even now the creativity and level of details is amazing. And the game is playable and enjoyable even this early in early access.
I hope this game succeds.
