Have you ever wondered what awaits everyone after death? What happens to our consciousness? What really makes us human? What if technology allowed us to replicate our brain, all our memories and experiences to then store our mind as a sequence of zeros and ones? Would what would be created still be "you" or just a copy that behaves like its original? Before playing this title, the answer seemed trivial to me, but SOMA has given these thoughts a new layer. Paradoxically, Cyberpunk 2077, a game with a completely different atmosphere, reminded me of this masterpiece of storytelling and after finishing Reds' production I started playing. As for me, everyone should experience SOMA before they die, be it in the form of a YouTube video or by playing it yourself. Gameplay-wise it may not impress, but for the philosophical layer it should be appreciated as much as possible.

• You can fight enemies that can snipe you with shotguns from a distance of 30 miles
  
  
• One of the in-game characters teaches you not to act dumb
  
  
• The game has a hidden feature which basically robs your entire bank account of money by buying a few (there's actually 39 of them at the moment of writing) DLCs
  
  
  Jokes aside, this is a great game that I heartly recommend to purchase even if you don't have anyone to play with, because playing alone on pubs can be really fun (if not for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who kick you for no reason). The game is still being developed, with bugfixes, balance and content patches said to be coming out frequently until early 2018.

I'm really upset and disappointed by the way the game of my childhood has been handled by Valve over the past years, especially concerning the cheating bots disaster.

And so with a heavy heart, but a heart nonetheless obligated to do so, I have to give Team Fortress 2 a "not recommended" tag in this review. I'm terribly sorry.




I mean, I played a little and I guess it's ok.
