Takes the really simple idea of "make poker hands" and slaps on so many upgrades that you kinda stumble upon synergies while doing other synergies as you build your way to another synergy

it's like the depth is 4d or something it's crack and addictive

Fairly straightforward on the platforming and puzzle front, the core of this game is more in the wonderful presentation - it's really nice just trotting around and soaking in the environment, they really nailed the charm.

A cute, short little art-y game; more an interactive piece rather than a typical video game, the art style along with the world design, inhabitants, and audio is charming, and absolutely worth a play through on a chill afternoon.

A well-rounded and engaging campaign, makes full use of VR in really nice ways and look great on top.

My only complaint is the somewhat repetitive level design and combat scenarios, what with every level being a familiar small-scale and very linear experience and barely varying weapon + enemy variety making it all very same-y compared to, say, Half-Life: 2, but it does make full use of the space granted by those design constraints.

Manages to keep the quality it's always had, and holds up well even 10 years later.

I've only played a single run-through of the single player on the default easy difficulty, but the game's definitely one of the most fun racing games I've played, and a fantastic example of the unfortunately small combat-racing genre.

The weakest point of the game, for me, would be when you first start playing - there doesn't appear to be any tutorial or any explanation as just how much content there is and how it's unlocked, although the controls and gameplay are fairly intuitive. Slowly unlocking the tracks and game modes in a drip as you advance works very well to not overwhelm you, and gives a nice sense of progression that made my sessions longer than I was planning.

I particularly like how the mechanics, at first, seem like fairly standard arcade fare and are easy to grapple, but have a definite sense of depth; this doesn't feel like the kind of game you toss away after beating it once.

It's good fun, and while a little disappointing in some aspects compared to Trials Evo I still had a blast with this on 360 and on here. Controller required, skill preferred - it's just one of those games.

CS:GO Review
I'm not sure how well the unique aiming mechanics translate to newer players jumping in the deep end, however this game fills a lovely niche of a very quick time-to-kill, but only if you know what you're doing. Everyone is weak, kills are rewarding, and despite what some may say there's gamemodes for anyone if you don't feel like slogging through the fun that is MM. The fact you can hop into a casual match where you deaths don't matter, but can still fend with the fairly deep mechanics and tactics involved, make this a must-buy for anyone who like FPSs.

Great writing for when you're down, relatable characters, lovely art style and animation, chill music and the inclusion of a load of minigame-style interactions to enhance the world makes this a fairly unique game that's all around awesome and basically you should play it and soak it all up.

The best why I can describe it is, as many othes have, is Undertale but less goofy. A nice, relatively short, introspective experience, with the necessary tugs on your heartstrings.

Slightly spoiler-y, but like undertale, there's a "true" ending after the first ending which admittedly I used a guide on to start, didn't terribly ruin it for me though.
