Early review, but from what I can tell so far it has some pretty great potential. Great soundtrack, captivating visuals, in-depth customization, genuine voice acting, and some decent humor to break up any monotony. Interested to fully see everything this game offers and I'm fairly certain I won't be disappointed!

All in all a pretty great game. I enjoyed XCOM:EU so I figured this one I would enjoy just as much if not more. Gameplay is similar to EU, however the addition of actually being stealthy and able to set up a strategy makes it a little nicer. The tech advancement is generally the same as well. I had hoped for a more vast technological "tree", but ultimately it's just basic weaponry, magnetic(comparable to laser of EU), and plasma. Although there are definitely more items and the different ammo types are better utilized.
Now on to my gripes about the game... First off the essentially "timed" campaign can get a little annoying. Also missions are timer happy with the majority of missions being timed in the amount of turns. My single biggest complaint about the game is the TERRIBLE hit percentages. Well first things first, enemies hardly ever miss. You have elevation bonus, behind full cover, and the enemy is disoriented? Well you're still gonna get hit, and more than likely hit with a crit as well. The ADVENT Officer's "Mark" will basically guarantee a hit on any character as well... Now to your side of the field: If it's not a 100% hit chance, prepare to miss. I've lost count of how many shots above 80% I've missed, most notably 92-95% missing constantly.
But like I said, all in all a great game. However very frustrating at times.

Been playing it long before it was released for steam. To be completely honest I was never a fan of MOBAs before being introduced to this game. It's not the boring, point-click, 0 skill MOBA. It is much faster paced and action filled. Definitely worth a try.

Well I guess it was inevitable in a F2P game. The game now focuses on making money with very little to no focus on gameplay. God balancing is non-existent with a handful of gods being obviously more powerful than others. I went from loving the game essentially playing it every day to utterly despising it. It was worth the ~$30 for the god pack during season 1 when the game was actually fun. Now, not so much
