If anyone can help me get the game to fit on my screen, i have a widescreen monitor and i lose just a little to the left, right, top and bottom of the screen, cant seem to force steam to run it in a different resolution or mode. Comment if you know the fix.

What a lot of people here miss in their description of what this DLC offers is this:

Once you have Ada as a companion, the frequency you get world events that are faction on faction increases, with Rust Devils and Robots showing up. Sometimes there are increased patrols of Rust Devils and a huge sentry, just roaming areas you are questing in.

if you open up the chain and then just go about your other business, you get to fight these cool varied battles all over the place. Snatch up that +50% damage to robots chinese officer sword from trudy with a few stacks of jet and purified water and a grapetats with a beer chaser, you can get it for like 1200 caps.

The more robot enemies you kill, the more mods drop, and then are unlocked in your robot bench options. You can also loot tons of fusion cores to fund a Power Armor Survival Run from the Rust Devil faction fights/patrols. I ended up with full sets of assaultron arms legs heads etc to apply to newly built bots, you can scavenge up an assaultron army, and then assign them to Settlement A and then before they leave, set them as provisioner, and then you have your own assaultron army patroling the wastelands. Most people set their supply lines up in a connect the dots circle or all radiating out from one point. If you put 3 assaultrons in each main corner settlement, you can "Aim" their supply route towards 3 other settlements that cut right across the hearts of the streets outside of Diamond City, and the lands south of there. Do this in 5-6 settlements with 3 outgoing supply lines from each settlement, and you will have a huge army out there all the time getting into fights (They cant die unless they take explosive damage) so you can just run towards laser fire in the distance and find your assaultron army duking it out with a deathclaw or a pack of rust devils or gunners.

I think i had mechanist unlocked as early as possible, i think 15 right? and i just got the first robobrain at 60, and im 70 now, on the way to the second.

I Love the added layer that the mechanist faction adds to the surface layer of the ingame terrain and open world fighting and patrols.

I also love how the robots can be abused as provisioners to let your desired faction have "Patrols".

One run i made Sentry Bots and named them all Sarge II and painted them green or manila, to fit in with my minute man play. Store a fusion core on each one, or a handful of missiles or mini nukes if you are inclined to use them, and you can resupply with the heavy ammunition anytime you come across one in the field, and there should be many if you set up a web.

I bought this and all of the DLC on sale.

Loaded up my first map, cant place city, settler is trying to go 21 spaces away. Reload 3 times, trying to see if it was a one time bug. Replicates bug each time, game doesnt even load the map the 4th time.

I could place the first city fine in the tutorial.

0/10 Broken Game cant even play in the first hour i had it.

when i bought deluxe edition i didnt know that meant your company was going to push out 8 tiny dlc packs with on civ and a scenario on it. I thought i was preparing for the future. I had known civ5 didnt get playable until the release of the 3nd expansion. Really thought i was buying that with the deluxe. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it isnt what happened.

Creating club is the worst idea i have ever heard of, and bethesday risks losing me as a customer over thier greedy practices.

I hope in the future they spend more time making a good game instead of all the time they have spent trying to monetize mods and pushing MTX.

I dislike the lack of information on the research tree.
I dislike that every race is the same when it comes to building ships.
Rush the same path in the same tech tree every game to unlock the first 2 models, then based on available resources, research the extra slots on them. It was bad enough when you had to make seperate glass cannon builds for each ship hull in ES1 but at least there was a huge player choice in what to put on each hull. here.... Its worse. So little nodes for weapons, really makes it hard to fight effectively, you basically have to throw away your first fleet at your first enemy while you rebuild ships that counter theirs.

I would like to see special hulls for each race, not just the cookie cutter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Also all the hero ships for each race are these weird red things, no matter the race.

Also, if I have a hero on a system, his ship should be auto added to ANY fleet battles in the system. Why isnt this a thing?

This feels like a quick reskin of endless legend with a few thousand hours of some dudes jerking off trying to make the graphics in the fights look good, but it is lacking sorely in balance and finding its own unique path.

This game is utter ♥♥♥♥.
I hate every second of it in chat.
There is a " you are sending too many messages rapidly" warning if you want to speak a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sentence that is more than their max characters for one message.


You cant say, " Hey everyone, lets team up so we can go fight in the command " , " arenea together"
without ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ waiting 10 seconds between messages.

Let the first message have 0 delay.
Second message have 2 seconds delay,
third and fourth you can lock behind the giant wait, but for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake let me communicate.

So... This is just a narated flyby advert for the game.
You cannot do a single thing shown in any of the videos except operate the camera at the end.
And seriously, i couldnt even get the quit button to operate properly when trying to quit. The "back to planet" button would "highlight" on mouse hover and be interactive but the other two, nada.

Now. from the dope as ♥♥♥♥ video demos, i would love to play this game. But going off the hyped up buzzwords they are using, I will not be getting my hopes up higher than a weird bastard child of tropico, endless space, sim city, and civilization with a touch of black and white thrown in

Early Access Review
The internal structure of this game is great.
It needs a lot of work, and they are doing an amazing job.
The problem is, some of these die hard players get so into the current playstyle, which, i remind you, is in early access, then a patch comes, changing things up, which is a GOOD thing, and they all bltch and say they will leave and make noise.

The game is EA, it gets better all the time. Since i started its already miles better, and it will continue to improve over time.

If you want a great game, go find something else.
If you are interested in a survival/sandbox/mmo type game that is going to be doing a lot of work before it gets out of early access, then this is for you.
