Early Access Review
Half a year without an update in an "Early Access" game.
Still a very unpolished experience. You can read about the many problems in other reviews.
I won't waste your time, and get right to the point.

This game is not worth anywhere near $40 in this state.

Go play Ground Branch.
They actually update their game, and it's pretty good by now.

Very buggy, unbalanced, and more on-rails than ever.
The new naval system is needlessly overcomplicated, and a waste of your research time.
Being a democracy is worse than ever for the USA, making you pointlessly sink PP into it, just to do national focuses, with no benefit in return.
Tried a civil war as the USA, and the AI got over 100 divisions out of absolutely nowhere and 75% of the country, despite having massive public support on my side.

Pass and wait for patches and price reductions.
