THE REVIEW SCORE MUST HOLD! FOR DEMOCRACY!

The game is really fun, if you can actually get past the login process. Probably DON'T buy this until the server issues get sorted out though. Otherwise it's a lot of fun and worth the money

Project Wingman does everything this game does but 100x better. The graphics and cutscenes in AC7 are good quality, but everything else, from controls, to soundtrack, to the flight model sucks.

If you liked the close range fights or the fast paced action of the first game, you WILL NOT like this game.

90% of the combat is down long hallways or in huge open rooms. Melee weapons have been sidelined, with guns taking center stage for combat. No, they haven't fixed or improved guns or the lock-on system, so it's every bit as frustrating as it was in the first game. Many enemies are now positioned in off-screen locations, so you will have to hold shift during all of your fights. That doesn't sound too bad, until you realize when you hold shift, your camera is locked to your cursor, making fights disorientating and also making it extremely hard to aim. Also, the cursor is purely white on a mostly white background, so that doesn't help at all.

The options section in this game is another huge letdown, so bad that it's worth talking about in a review. You can only navigate menus using the arrow keys and the Enter / Escape keys. The mouse sensitivity is only changeable AT THE MAIN MENU. There are no graphics settings. There is an option to hide the sexual violence in the game, however, so that's the one thing they got right about the menus.

TL;DR: This game is not worthy of the Hotline Miami title. It feels like the developers made the story and cutscenes but handed the level design off to a 12 year old with a level editor and a love of firearms. The combat has been gutted, and so have the menus.
