old-school ow1 player here, the game is a hollow shell of its former self. It's all buy buy buy the new skin, buy buy the new hero, buy buy the battlepass. The core gameplay is frustrating compared to ow1. Removing one tank was a mistake. With lootboxes, end-game cards and player banners removed, it feels like there's no sense of progression for the average non-paying player. Playing with randoms is no longer fun since every feature that allowed socializing has been removed or stripped down to "combat" toxicity (yet the ow2 chat is the most negative it has ever been) and/or appeal to sweats who just want to get to their next game faster.

I loved ow1, ow2 is pretty much dead to me.

If this is your first time playing Pathfinder : play on normal difficulty, look up build guides, take Setsuna Sky as your first crusader army general, and only go in turn-based mode for bosses or overpowered enemies that can deal a lot of area damage and debuffs.

Story-wise this is everything you’d want in a CRPG. A lot of interactivity, choices that matter, rock solid writing, and a TON of text-based dialogue (don’t worry, it’s not a crime if you skip some of it). Wholeheartedly recommend this game for those looking for their next RPG fix after BG3, but be aware that this was created by a smaller studio on a way smaller budget.

Fun game to play with friends! Despite the simple premise it doesn't get old fast. Graphics are simplistic but have a nice flair to them. Playing with random people online isn't that bad, aside from the very frequent disconnects. I personally also haven't encountered a lot of cheaters or hackers yet. Bugs are minimal, I didn't encounter any crashes or freezes.

If you grew up with RCT 1 and/or 2 like me, I don't think you need to be convinced to buy this game. If you're not sure, buy it. The game(s) are still 100% worth their value. If you've never played RCT 1 or 2, you might be wondering if it's worth buying this game (RCT 2) that has been around for 18 (!) years (in 2020). And yes, even with successors like Planer Coaster and Parkitect, this game is still worth buying. Not so much for its creative aspect, but RCT2 offers a lot of scenarios where you're really challenged to build smart and efficient. You might have to build onto an existing park, start from scratch and attract a certain number of visitors or build a park in mountains where your attractions can't exceed the maximum height limit. The possibilities are endless. The graphics are also not a thorn in the eye, they hold up very well and make it possible to build large parks without a lot of lag. The game is very carefully designed with a lot of depth and even has some small cute details (like guests looking at your coasters), and relatively little bugs. For the low price, the game is definitely worth it.

Note: I do recommend you use the modification OpenRCT to get the most out of RCT2. The vanilla game might be unstable and unsuitable on modern pcs, and this mod/tool fixes those issues (I can easily play it for hours without any problems using OpenRCT). Cheers!

A somewhat worthy successor to the original RCT franchise, definitely worth a try for any RCT fans. Planet Coaster is a paradise for builders looking to build the park of their dreams, because it has many advanced building tools that are limited only by your imagination. I also found most of them easy enough to use. Sadly, on the other hand, the game is rather lacking in the management/challenge aspect. It's very easy to 'hack' the system (with in-game tools, not with external tools, obviously) and make the challenge modes of the game into a joke. For example, you can optimize the rides so that you can ask up to 25 dollars for a ride which is a bit ridiculous. Also, if you just want to build a successful park like in the previous RCT games, you'll have to waste a lot of time attempting to make your park look somewhat decent due to a lack of premade structures and decorations. On top of that, the game is still rather performance heavy. Credit where credit is due, Frontier has made a lot of attempts to fix the performance, but making large decorated parks will still completely tank your performance, even if you have a gaming pc. If you have a pc that's good enough to run the game on the high quality settings, the game is beautiful, though. The game also has a lot of charm and personality like the original RCT games. The catalogue of attractions is also more than enough. You can easily play this game forever (especially with the addition of Steam Workshop), so I do recommend it despite its shortcomings!

If you still haven't played Skyrim, I don't know what to tell you to convince you. It has a very interesting open world ripe for exploration, quests that are amusing despite their sometime mediocre writing, and high replayability. Recommended for every RPG player.

Saints Row IV: do crazy stuff and save Earth
Action, adventure, sandbox game with a lot of focus on comedy and references to pop culture

PROS:
-A lot of different superpowers
-High level of customization
-Characters are memorable
-'Unique' missions are a lot of fun
-Lots of weapons that are pleasant to use
-Amusing although short DLC
-Very good, diverse and funny voice acting
-Great soundtracks
-Large map
-Good graphics and nice, working physics (on clothes, hair, and... other things)
-Fun collectibles that aren't too hard to find and are not in non-accessible places

CONS:
-Same map from Saints Row 3
-Very easy to earn money, not a lot of expensive things to spend it on
-Vehicles are pretty much useless, I would say further down the road Homies (NPC's that help you fight) too
-Connecting with the previous point, as you get more powerful it feels like you're playing the game with cheats as it becomes hard to die, removing any challenge from the game
-Some missions are the same thing over again just on a different location and with a different difficulty

NOTES:
-Humor might not appeal to everybody, for me it wasn't cringe worthy but not always hilarious either
-Setting your graphic settings too high and having slight lag can cause issues, although not very serious ones

Might contain spoilers!
SUMMARY:
Following the 'Save Shaundi' ending from Saints Row 3, the leader of the Saints (you) has been appointed as president of the US. After Earth is attacked by aliens, it's up to you and the other Saints to save Earth by entering a simulation of Steelport, where you get an arsenal of superpowers.
Although the story isn't as good as the previous SR, it's still solid and makes for fun missions. While the superpowers are really fun to use and running/flying fast around Steelport is amazing, it might become boring and overpowered for some people after a while. Especially when some of the missions (the ones that raise the loyalty by your friends) are basically always the same thing. The missions that are set on unique locations however are very much fun and often put you in ridiculous but funny situations.

If you like messing around, doing crazy things, don't really care about the story and like humor in a game, Saints Row IV is perfect for you.

Having already 533 hours now, I thought it was time to write a review.

First of all, I'm a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls series. I played every one of them, and loved them all. Some more than others. However, I'll start by saying TES V is not my favorite in terms of story or characters. Almost none of the characters are really interesting, and the story was pretty bald. In RPG the story matters to me the most, but Skyrim had such beautiful locations and great gameplay, that I couldn't possibly dislike it.
The graphics in Skyrim are beautiful, even without mods. And the locations are a huge improvement. Morrowind and the other games are pretty outdated, but they had different locations. Most locations in Oblivion were copy-pasted. However, Skyrim takes the best of both worlds. A lot of different, beautiful and interesting locations. Skyrim really encourages exploring because you might find loot or a very nice view.
The soundtrack is as in every TES game, amazing. The voice actors did a great job, even though some actors seem to be re-used a lot.
The gameplay was also a huge improvement. However, unlike previous games, magic seems pretty useless. The combat is fun, but might get boring after a while. It's not as hard as it was in Morrowind, but it depends if you find this good or not.
Even after completing this game, the fun never stops. Skyrim has a very active modding community, with lots of different mods that make this game even nicer, and add tons of extra hours to the gameplay.

If you're still not sure if you want this buy this game, you really should. It is really worth the price.
