Definitely a game with some promise, while not fully fleshed out in terms of story and level design it's without a doubt a good start. It's a dystopian combination of management, survival, supernatural themes and probably more as the game goes on in its development. The game doesnt hold your hand when it comes to the survival aspects, there is no "can i play daddy" difficulty like in DOOM, you have to manage food, water, sleep, happiness and three separate addictions that can take a MASSIVE toll on your happiness if left unchecked but you can beat them and lose the addictions, doesnt mean you cant get them back but you can beat them. Money is a pain to get until you have your first property rented out which means LOTS of scrounging and dumpster diving while managing your VERY finite amount of money on things like food, water and other resources you need in order to survive or progress in the game, This is definitely a grueling experience but rewarding when you succeed

Definitely an up and coming game that could easily rival some AAA games this combines a lot of what's you'd get from older Elder Scrolls games like Morrowind and Skyrim from brutish melee builds to sneaking around with a bow and knife or the ever broken magic builds. Is it perfect? No, it is an indie game after all but at least they're straight forward and honest about their game when they say they dont aim for it to look or play like a AAA game and that there will be bugs, from my experience so far though, less bugs than a Tod Howard game. As of writing this i'm running a mage build and i'm rather blown away by or more so my enemies are. The biggest issues i've run into as a mage is the more or less complete lack of mana regen with the exception of a perk that gives you a very sad 1MP/s regen and even though putting points into your intelligence claims to add +5% mana regen per second i have yet to see my mana regen any faster which means when i'm running low on mana i can't fight or heal which leaves me running around and trying to dodge attacks until i have enough mana to launch one more spell or heal myself. This also brings up the perk system, i'm all for a perk every other level instead of every level but if you grind for XP you can have all of the perks unlocked before you even get to the end of chapter 1 even if they don't pertain to the class you're playing, it would be nice to see a bit more of a perk tree similar to what we get in Skyrim where it's not just limited to what our level is and stats are but our skill in certain skills, right down to things like splitting magic into combat spells, healing and summoning with their own respective skills and perks that come with increasing them. I'm not saying copy the elder scrolls games outright but this game has a good thing going for it and with a little tweaking to how skills work and maybe some inspiration from other medieval style RPG games this could be AAA quality without the AAA budget

Probably one of the worst war games i've played. While I appreciate Battlefield trying to show WWII from all sides the fighting was just a mess. In almost all the missions stealth seemed to be encouraged but there was a distinct lack of stealth weapons and the silenced pistol did piss all in terms of damage and were almost never given throwing knives while you had an overabundance of grenades to throw. The enemy AI was TOO smart even on easy, you had maybe two seconds between them getting a passing glance at you and the entire German army being down your throat. There was NO option once they found you to duck around a bend or in a bush in an attempt to break line of sight and have them lose you and begin a search for you before finding you if you didn't hide well enough or turning off the alarm and returning to their normal patrols if you did. Overall my enjoyment of the game was more or less ruined by the "go loud or go home" mentality that I seemed to almost be forced into, I like playing stealthily, making headshots with silenced weapons and taking out an entire squad without ever being seen, if stealth is your forte then this game is not for you. Very disappointed and I would NOT recommend

Definitely one of the better horror games i've played, while not scary in the traditional sense of most modern horror games in the sense that you're checking around every corner, looking for an impending jump scare Phasmophobia plays the scare game a little differently by using legitimate jump scares that the player can not predict and by relying more on a silent atmosphere with the exception of the occasional creaking of the building and your teams chatter. It is one of the few VR supported games i've played that i can consider GOOD, with everything right in front of you it makes you feel far more immersed in the world but does come with its' own trade offs such as being able to carry an additional item allowing up to 4 while PC players can only carry 3 but being unable to open/close doors without either dropping an item, opening the door then picking it back up or being escorted by a teammate who will open doors for you while you carry a bulk amount of the setup equipment. Overall it's a great game that focuses more on the atmosphere of the game over the scares which is a give and take since if you make it too scary it will drive away players who are not accustomed to horror games but if it's not scary enough then it can bore the more hardcore horror players, this is a balance that Kinetic Games still needs to work on as after a certain amount of play time Phasmophobia can grow to be stale and only becomes entertaining again to watch newer players get scared. As a conclusion Phasmophobia is a great game, made by a small dev team that seems to work relentlessly on patches and updates for the game to keep players engaged although as a small team they are not without their shortcomings as they try a bit too much to satisfy player demand for new content over fixing bugs and glitches in the game that can break the immersion or worse, make the game unplayable. Is Phasmophobia a good game? Yes. Does it still need work? Yes. Would I recommend Phasmophobia to players new and old to the horror genre? Also yes, don't believe me? Buy the game for yourself and try it out

Not sure if this game is a virus disguised as a game or just a VERY poorly made game but it's completely unplayable unless you're in thr EU. There are maybe 6 servers to play on with no option to create your own or play a single player version and to explain why i think this game might be a virus,i couldnt close the game to play something that actually works. I selected quit to exit the game,it froze, tried to close it from the hot bar, then the task manager, task manager froze and wouldnt let me select anything at all, forcing my to hard crash my computer just to be able to use it properly again. Others may not have this issue but I wouldnt bother installing the game as it is borderling unplayable anyway

It's definitely a good game in its' concept however the hit and damage mechanics are beyond broken. In its' current stage the zombies are beyond overpowered, capable of taking you out in 3-5 hits even with armor and you are almost completely unable to fight back due to poor damage and broken hit boxes. Should you fashion a spear or even find yourself with an ax or knife, the damage you deal to the zombies is so small that I questioned if i was even hitting the zombies as i saw no form of staggering while swinging my knife at them. If you are lucky enough to find a fire arm and ammo the result is worse, you do little to no damage depending on if you hit anything, again it's impossible to tell without some form of blood or stagger effect and as with most zombie games if you fire your gun even once it brings the horde down on you so your only option is to preform a stealth kill with a melee weapon, this at minimum works but still puts you at risk of alerting other zombies since you have to get close. Again, the game is great in concept but if you're looking for a polished zombie survival game then I would avoid this one until the bugs have been worked out

This game is missing some key features that allow you to actually PLAY it,without them you won't make it past the launch screen and to fix them requires a fair bit of file manipulation which just isnt worth the 10 bucks to buy it. I strongly advise against spending your money on this game and instead try ebay or amazon in the hopes of finding the actual CD

My biggest complaint about this game is that there really is no story mode or anything to make it stand apart from something like minecraft. As of right now it's just a survival zombie sandbox game and while yes it is fun to play by yourself or with friends the lack of any kind of story or objectives leaves its continued play value lacking. All in all though it's well put together and is constantly being improved upon so maybe a story isnt far from possible, would still reccomend it

One of the best fallout games I think i've played so far in terms of it's environment and things to do. Yes the main story is a bit lackluster and doesn't really get you involved like Fallout 3 did but hey,if you like sidequesting then Fallout 4 has TONS for you to do. The weapon system is a bit different with no weapon degredation but on the bright side, you're no longer stuck with the mundane weapons you find in shops or on bodies, you get to practically build your weapon from the ground up,want that .50cal sniper rifle with a night vision scope that doesnt make a sound when you fire it? It's yours, just takes a little time to find the parts and resources you need and you're good to go.

Pros-

Amazing graphics

fully customizable character,weapons and armor

countless quests to keep you playing for hours

Cons-

no real dedication to making the main story interesting

Good game as it stands right now, reminds me a lot of the old caeser games but it's still lacking a lot of key features. It's a bit of a pain to have my city maintenence practically right next to all of my structures and still have them burn and crumble, maybe increase the radius in which buildings are affected? All in all it's still buggy and i hate the whole concept of the emperor limiting housing improvments, back in the old caeser games if a structure met the requirements to be improved it did and if it didnt or lost something it needed to be in its current state would devolve. I would honestly suggest going and looking at old playthroughs of the caeser games and use them as reference. And on a side note to everyone who keeps trying to bring up copyright on these guys, copyright is really only a concern if a profit was being made off of this game, due to the fact that they have made it a FREE game they're clearly not, please for the sake of everyone do some research into what classifies as copyright infringment before you accuse someone
