More PS games on PC please!

No matter the flaws, it is very pretty.

As a non-console gamer I couldn't be happier with Halo making its way on PC and especially Steam. The game plays and runs well with exceptional games.

EA, more of this please.

Odyssey feels like it should have come before Origins. It feels less refined, world is more boring, and assassinations are becoming an afterthought. If you are a fan of the franchise but don't like the direction the series is going, however you still want to play the new iterations - just get Origins.

While I'm still not sold on the new controls and combat the world is amazing with more exploration than ever.

The Verdict

DOOM is a huge hit, pure and simple. It is all that it needed to be, ticks the boxes and does all the things you expect plus a little extra. The campaign is long enough, the gameplay is challenging enough and the story is interesting enough to keep you glued to your chair for the whole ride. DOOM is brutally simple and honest but it can also roleplay very well. At its core it’s the game it has always been. On the surface the new tux is not only shiny but also has bells and whistles. Bells and whistles that work and make the game better for it. Much better for it. Brutally better for it.

Score: 4.5/5 - Grandpa Doom would be proud.

If you liked Risen 1 then you are definitely going to enjoy this. The animations are still wonky and the voice acting is still uninspiring but the addictive core gameplay is still there all nicely wrapped up in a big open world. Just keep in mind this is not an AAA game so don’t expect it to have insane levels of polish.

Bound by Flame - Pixel Judge review

The Verdict
The long and the short of it folks, is that Bound by Flame is a spectacular game. It came along with a few minor bugs, none of which were gamebreaking, and all are easily rectified by making minor changes in the config file. The issues that kept Spiders’ previous offering from true greatness are (almost) entirely fixed and absolutely everything has been improved. There’s still a ways to go, and a larger budget is still clearly needed for Spiders to hit their full potential, but it really is just a matter of time.
