Sigh

At first I was writting a meme review, but thinking about it I guess I'll take the serious approach here, sorry.

I started playing Overwatch by pure chance in the first beta ever, and even tho I had no prior interest in the game, I got really hooked and insta-pre-bought the sh*t out of one of it (And not the standard edition).

I loved Overwatch. At first, I played mostly with friends, people started leaving the game but I just kept on playing my myself from time to time.
Overwatch was one of the few competitive games that made me feel I was some level of good, peaking at high diamond elo by mostly playing only the placement games for every season (I'm one of those people with ranked-anxiety). At first I really enjoyed it, but Blizzard began to change how everything worked, experimenting on how queues worked and everything and, in the end, I would have leavers, afks, or even people trolling on a really high percent of the games (Specially on when they divided the rank into roles, so people would just join Tank/Support games and go AFK to get prio tickets for DPS queue). After playing for 31 seasons, I just stopped playing ranked at all, it was unbearably frustrating and not fun anymore.
Still, I would pop in for the events, even after stopping playing the game on a daily bases, I'd play the sh*t out of the events to the point of farming every single item on some of them, but late, by the end of OW1's life it just didn't feel the same anymore.

Then, Overwatch 2 got announced. Oh boy.
I was excited, game changes looked promising, PVE stuff seemed really good...
Well, even after all to happened with OW1, I still defended OW as a game, and enjoyed it from time to time. So I impatiently waited for OW2 to come. I hyped myself up, trusted Blizzard once again then spent some more money to prepurchase once again one of those OW2 release packs with the season pass and everything, considered it as a new game and everything...
And well, the game released with no PVE in sight, which was dissapointing but still had some faith on it arriving on a later date, and I somehow started to enjoy the game again at first (Staying away from ranked), maybe because the hype made my friends come back and playing with them felt better than playing the game alone.
But the hype, once again, started to vanish, friends started leaving the game and I had a rough time completing the first season pass by myself (That feeling when the last 20% of a season pass feels like chores more than a playing a game).
After that, I just left it aside once again. Would come back from time to time to play a few matches with some friends, but thats all.

Quick side note on economy system/lootboxes: I really didn't mind the lootbox component of Overwatch. I grinded them, a lot, previous to the OW2 launch I had something like 90% or more of the items in the game. It wasn't the worst lootbox system I've seen, but the new "economy" system in OW2 really, REALLY feels awful. I understand that after going F2P Blizzard needs to get money somewhere, but the new system just really feels abusive and overpriced.
I had a lot of those legacy coins I never spent (Since they didn't really explain much of what was going to happen prior to the OW2 launch) and I still have the 2k new coins or whatever that I got with the OW2 Edition I got.

Then the great, great message arrived. PVE, as it got announced back in the day was no more. Sad, but not suprised.
They'd give us a washed up version. "Okay, it's something at least, maybe we can enjoy it". Then it is behind yet another paywall. So at this point I don't even think on trying it, I don't know nothing about the couple lastest heroes released and I kinda don't follow any OW news anymore.

It feels really bad how OW turned from one of my favorite games into what it is now. If I don't really think the game itself is bad, you know, its still fun sometimes and you can enjoy the gameplay, I do think it deserves the negative reviewing because of what Blizzard did with the game and all the systems around it.

I still plan on playing sometime if I feel like doing it or some friends want to, but even tho my heart still wants to believe the game could get to a better state, I don't think it's ever gonna be the same.

Game was okay, then the dev decided to act like a doo doo posting doo doo on their doo doo patch notes, started malding at people telling them to stop acting doo doo and went full doo doo spiral then decided that since Steam doesn't want to let them erase reviews they don't like, they won't be updating the game on Steam anymore.

So I guess I wouldn't recommend wasting money on this. I bet there are other ways to play, even if those won't allow you to update the game... Oh wait, you wouldn't be able to update it on Steam anyways ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not only is a graphically beauty of a game, gameplay-wise is pretty solid, and although at first I felt like the game was gonna be easy, turns out its getting more difficult, which I love.

Also, can't wait to watch speedruns of this game.

HORROR TALES: The Wine is a graphically stunning horror game with a handful of cool game mechanics, a really sweet level design and a quite interesting lore. Also those sweet, sweet cat pics!
It makes you feel tension and keep expecting the screamers to come, but there aren't any gratuitous jumpscares.
The scenarios are really pretty and will definetely catch you attention to detail.

I'm definitely gonna try to get every achievement in the game at some point.

Can't wait for the next HORROR TALES games. Thank you!
