So having played this game from very early access to it's sweet completion i can say that i have been thoroughly satisfied. From the beginning you feel the struggle to survive and that feeling never goes away from when your swimming in the shallows to exploring the depths in a submarine. Once you gain the mobility of vehicles you may feel a bit safer but that doesn't take away from the feel of the game as the access of the vehicles only takes you closer to creatures that can quite easily beat and eat said vehicles. The overall story is grand and will take a solid 20 hours at least and thats with leaving certain things unexplored. The crafting is very satisfying and the animations (while wonky in a few places) add to the experience nicely. Many modern survival games are set in multiplayer or open ended, which makes this game so nice when you finally fly free of the planet. The graphics are colorful and the sound design is dead on with what you would imagaine a alien ocean sounding like and will often have you spinning around in paranoia thinking something monstrous is coming up on you. All in all this game was a fantastic game and i can only hope the developers are proud and already planning for another game in a similar vein, we need more story based survival games like this.

A great and tactically competent game. Team work is crucial and you have a wide array of ships to find the ones the fit you best. Matches do feel like they go a little quick and your team will mostly be comprised of people that own it on playstation because it had a free to download month on PSN. This means, unfortunately that you won't be able to communicate with your team outside of pings unless you are lucky enough to come across one of the few pc players.

Seriously one of the best games i've played in a while. The art is one of a kind and the music along with it makes the game ooze character. Worth giving it a go if you have the time and wish for a good game.

very in depth building system for just being alpha. Can see the potential fun for any and all creative types with a smattering of survivalists as well. You can die very easily especially in the beginning but like i said most the funs in the making and that's with my single player experience alone as i have yet to even try multiplayer.

this game will truly make you rage all the while making you turn into the exact people you hate in this game. Yet still you will find yourself crawling back to this game at least to check in and make sure your hard earned loot is still yours. For a game that's only in beta it will astound you with how much time you can spend just experiencing what there is. Only real downside is the hackers, anywhere and everywhere. Makes the game a intensely rage worthy experience at times.

While there may still be a few things that are off about it that make you miss the feel of the older ones, I think Rebirth is well on its way to being a game worth going past the initial bugs to experience the fun of doing whatever you please in space.
