I have over 1.5k hours on the Origin Apex Legends and here's why:
The characters interact ingame giving the battle royal appeal an off RPG vibe, while making keeping track of whats happening eaier.
versatile pings in the ping system.
fast phased gameplay, combat is mostly fun even if you lose the fight.
can be respawned midgame, if you die it may not be over yet for you.
each legend has its own personality and sometimes, depends on the season have unique lore to them that explains the changes to the season map/gameplay.

TL;DR: If you like battle royal games give this one a go with your friends I mean... it is free.

It's a Monster hunter game, but for your more stable performing PC rather than a console, The game itself plays well other than the small disconnection problem that puts you in offline mode.
Theres always something to do in MH:W from epic battles with brute sized monsters to collecting mushrooms plants and bugs, yes bugs are important.
The game uses an interesting tracking system that evantually leads to revelaing the monsters location (this gets faster the more tracking of the same monster you conduct making high level play ultimately simpler)
In the game you take up 1 of 14 different types of arms close quarter combat like dual blades or even ranged weapons like a bow or a bowgun, use different types of gadjets to your disposal, Oh and you have a CAT that literally helps in combat.

This game may look cute and all at first glance, but I suggest you play it yourself, you might get surprised.
P.S:Keep your game files from Steam/SteamApps/common/Doki Doki Literature Club folder open ;)

At first i was bad but later when i understood how to play it just became fun.
And I'll always come back to it.
