Early Access Review
Don't buy the game for the combat, it's pretty unbalance at the moment, and I don't think it will ever get to a point that feels properly realistic.

That said, the city building in this game... really good. Obviously early access, but that just means there is plenty of room to grow.

It's a pretty fun scenario, but there is very little replayability to it. The new law trees, and the strikes, are intriguing on their own, but the class divide between the workers and the engineers is pretty forced at times, and said law trees don't transfer over to endless mode. The new builders mode doesn't even have the interesting mechanics the scenario had, i.e. transferring supplies over sea + strikes + different work shifts, so it basically boils down to a typical endless mode game with a few extra steps. I feel as if this expansion could have been a great shakeup to the original game, but either lack of time or lack of vision saw it being drastically knee-capped of its potential. I would recommend it when it goes on sale, but right now I simply can't at the asking price.

The cosplay grill is cute thou.

>front lines don't actually help organize your units in the slightest, and instead make your divisions run around like headless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when you actually want to manually control them; also they won't simplify themselves by taking surrounded, empty territory
>said ai will move your units towards "weak spots" in your line... when the majority of the enemy army is encircled by your mantual control, meaning you have to constantly force your units to stay put if you want them to gather organization
>battleplans are the same as above, but also come with the added bonus of both player and enemy AI being dumb af and running into brick walls, wasting manpower; also, they don't encircle at ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ all
>the fix to this, mantually controlling your divisions, isn't an option as battle plans bonuses are an ESSENTIAL PART OF THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME
>>paradox developers thought it would be a great idea to make the AI an essential part of the game on the end of the player

Kaiserreich team, please kill yourself for moving away from Darkest Hour.

Premium tripple A single player game adds pay to win microtransactions years after it was released, not to mention that Bethesda also removed ALL rpg elements from it to start. Buy New Vegas instead and download FREE mods.

Only worth it on sale for the Kite mods tbh fam. ♥♥♥♥ Shadman.
