Early Access Review
Neos 2.0

Now with
>regular updates
>customizable graphics
>better Logix (now called ProtonFlux)
>Zuckerburg's Metaverse is still a living world you can go visit in Resonite (the full story was some users recreated Horizons in Neos under 2 days and it was done as a meme... it was ported over to Resonite when Neos disbanded)

This is not a "Hitman" game but whatever it is, it's really fun and I love it <3

In this "Hitman" you start the game with a contract to kill an old friend and then after that you have to beat levels with the highest amount of points. You get points by playing the game similar to older Hitman games BUT you can just slaughter everyone and end the level with negative points which is my favorite thing to do. This game is more fun than GTA 5 cuz it allowed me to kill a bunch of S.W.A.T. officers and unrealistically win the level xD

Also what's with the mountain level in Chicago? lol
Watch_Dogs has mountains in Chicago too and there aren't any mountains even 1000+ miles away from the IRL city

"Cannot connect to game server" error as soon as I bought it.

I bought this under the pretense I'd be able to play it offline and it won't even let me access any game content at all. Please do not buy this garbage.

I reported the game to Steam as broken and you can too with the Flag icon on the right side of the Store page.

Great game, reminds me when I played it when it first released back on PS2

It also doesn't require UPlay (which is GREAT!), but game mechanics are frustrating and game requires pc gaming wiki to play in 1080p

Only 2 hours into the game and besides the strange combat system, this game had one of the best revenge stories I've ever come across, like it's better than Kill Bill

What I expected: LGBT mice version of SaGa Frontier

What I got: LGBT mice but there's a death in the first 5 minutes and the story doesn't talk about it, makes Vern an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (poor character development), and the rest of the story isn't written well

It does have the blunt, slash, and pierce attack varieties that SaGa Frontier has tho, so at least I did get that

And the artwork in this game is really, really beautiful but it feels like the entire budget went on that

A game that comes free with your Xbox(tm) but isn't worth the install.
The fake ads are cute and they put alot of work into them... but it's wasted talent. Simulacra devs would've had better potential making real game ads on YouTube, or better yet, a real actual mobile game and selling it on the Play Store. That's not to mention they repeat those fake ads in this game. They're fun to watch once but not again and again. This game is literally Flappy Bird with extra steps and fake microtransactions that you can simulate in real life by just picking up any mobile game ever. Pipe Dreams disrespects your time and I get it. It's a parody of modern mobile gaming. The idea to critique modern mobile gaming could've been done ANY other way and it would've worked. This just doesn't work.

The only parallel that this game drew my attention for was Teddy wallowing in himself for not being good enough, which is super relatable and that can actually teach people life lessons. But it's thrown away as soon as Flap-pee Bird (yes the bird pisses urine) is introduced, so the initial hook that made me keep playing just dispersed like a bad subplot that goes nowhere. 1/10 -IGN

A game that has its place in Video Game History, but it's not recommended to play this version or the remaster because its gameplay loop is Press <Y> to not die. You'd be doing yourself a service watching this on YouTube due to the fact that the gameplay gets too difficult out of nowhere, or alternately the story line starts going mumbo jumbo on you and it's still being decoded to this day. The only reason I bought this game was because it was on sale, historic, and the game was about to be pulled forever before the remaster came out.

Interesting Action RPG with an interesting story. This game predicted things like the Covid 5G scare and the Quest 2 being a thing everyone is doing.

BUT

90% of this game is fetch quests or required dungeons that feel like your time is wasted. Even getting around town sucks. They give you a bike later in the game to help with it, but it's still too slow.

I'm regretting buying this game the more I play it.

Technically the best way to play FF7 now because of 7th Heaven (mod manager) and because it has increased loadtimes, better translation, and an enhanced playcode (this Steam version is based on the Eidos release, which was coded better than the original game). Only thing you should do is follow a guide with what buttons on your controller/KB coincide with what buttons are on-screen in the game, because getting the final "Big Materia" requires that knowledge.

I am not a FF7 fan, I prefer the later games (like FF8 and FF10) BUT playing this version all the way through was fantastic and I couldn't stop playing it.
