Hands down, one of the best ways you can spend your money on steam. It's often on sale for 0.99€ or lower.
I can't recommend this game enough, it is very addicting and entertaining.

The best VR experience out there, and a worthy full entry to the Half-Life saga.

The core gameplay loop is very addictive. I love going fast, smashing into things, and using bullet time to either correct my trajectory or to make for cool impact visuals as I travel at breakneck speeds.
Once you get a feel for how strong the launch kick is you start to not need the bullet time feature for normal jumps anymore, making you able to clear some levels with a target time of 1 minute in about 15 seconds in a glorious sequence of well angled jumps. You may find that after only a couple of hours of playtime you begin to perfect your movement, being able to move faster and with more power than before, and without making an accidental and fatal plunge off the edge. The feeling you get from it is true enjoyment and pride in your skill and results.

While some levels are less fun and in my opinion work against the appeal of this game (looking at you, tombstone level), most levels are quite vast and allow you to quickly launch yourself across the vaporcore themed A E S T H E T I Cs.
(Not to mention the killer soundtrack!)

While the game lacks polish and proper level design in some cases, this game has great potential and I hope that the developers will consider making another installment in the future and trying to perfect the gameplay.
BALLISTIC is a terribly ugly creature, and I love it to death. I think it could evolve into something truly extraordinary.

This is a very relaxing game. You can keep building on your cozy little farm for as long as you want and take in the even cozier atmosphere and soundtrack.

It is also a good way to practise setting goals for yourself and working towards them, as in this game you are not forced to do anything. There is no penalty to sleeping for 100 years except for that you are maybe not spending your time wisely.

If you need a game to wind down, or calm down from a stressful day, give it a try!

This game is incredible. Imagine a nature documentary about marine life with no words, with story elements similar to that of the game Journey.

ABZÛ is more of an experience rather than the traditional game if you ask me. Sure it has typical gameplay features such as achievements or collectibles, but those are only secondary. What makes this game stand out is the sense of wonder you experience as you explore these beautiful sceneries and creatures.

-You gently glide through the coral reef with curious colourful fish coming closer for a better look at you. Suddenly you see a pack of dolphins swimming by, chittering playfully. You follow them into a strong current which you swim along, the music score growing more intense and intriguing. Many fascinating and beautiful creatures can be seen hitching a ride, some of which are large enough for you to ride on like the humble sea turtle. The current starts to go upwards with you and the dolphins increasing speed. As the music builds up, you breach the surface. You're met with momentary silence before returning back to the water. A calmer melody starts playing and you've discovered a kelp forest with peaceful mantarays.

This is an example of what this game is about. The game is linear and has an interprative story with details scattered around the world. You are free to explore each area to your leisure and see the subtle but powerful interactions the sea creatures have with you.
Though the concept may seem simple this is by no means a boring game. ABZÛ takes you through a variety of areas with different experiences to be had. If you're satisfied with one area it should be clear where you need to go or what you need to do in order to progress to the next one.

ABZÛ is a highly immersive experience that takes you on a journey through a beautiful ocean filled with wonder. On a scale of 1-10 I give this game a 10.

So this game was originally a browser game from 2008. I used to play it a lot when I was younger, I remember seeing these lobbies full of people from across the globe. I may like this game from nostalgia, but when I take a deeper look at it I think that this game really is a good party game if you will, one to play with friends. This game is also still available in the browser even if it has less functions. As of now the browser version seems to have a bug that doesn't allow new users or guests to join the lobby, but hopefully it won't be that long before it's fixed. If you paid for this game on steam you will get some extra features aswell as being able to play it offline obviously. In online mode there are two lobbies, one for those who bought DX on steam and one lobby where browser users and DX users can play together! Sadly this game's multiplayer isn't very active at all and you'll be lucky if you find a random person to play with, it's really best to play this with friends. The gameplay is fun, chaotic and intense. You are some sort of bipedal raptor like dino that you can dress up in different hats. Your goal is to escape the ever closing wall of doom that heads toward the same goal as you. While you try and get away from your extinction things such as meteors or herds of triceratops will be in your way. You will also learn as you play what the best way to accelerate is and how to maintain your speed. If you eat critters and collect eggs your speed will increase slightly as long as you keep it up, you can also gather power up flowers that give you abilities such as an extended jump, increased speed+/acceleration or one that allows you to destroy large obstacles in your path for a short while. In singleplayer you can also upgrade your dino as you gather points. I don't think I recommend this game for full price, wait until the slightest sale is taking place.

Tl;Dr

Very fun with friends, can be partially f2p, has a semi dead multiplayer. Buy it during a sale.

This mod is exactly what a Sequel-less half life fan needs at this time. Although very short, it introduces a couple of really interesting and entertaining mechanics. There will be a few battles where you can be creative in how you deal with the large amounts of (or large in general) enemies. I love this mod to death, the only real flaw I can come of with is that it's too short. This is a flaw I'd say is fairly preferable if you have to receive any, it feels like a demo for a fantastic game and I wish it had been atleast a few hours longer. (I would also highly embrace a new mod that uses the mechanics and aesthetics that this mod provided or just an expansion of it)

This mod is short and sweet, there are few reasons to not play it.
