Bought this a few years back on the Nintendo Switch and seeing how far it's come over the years and how much passion the devs have with this game, I had to buy it again for PC.

There's so many improvements that have been made to the game, it now feels totally different and it's even more fun to play now.

In a time where triple A games are cash-grab disappointments, indie developers that put passion and love into their games really shine through. This game and its dev team are perfect examples of people who have a passion for creating games and providing players with a great product they'll love.

Only played it for an hour so far and here's what I think

- Cat is cute as heck
- Emotes are amazing
- Humour in the dialogue is brilliant
- He can wear hats! He's too cute!
- Environment looks great
- SO MUCH TO EXPLORE

Gameplay is a bit odd but the music, environment and puzzles are brilliant. The ending alone is well worth buying the game no doubt. Absolute masterpiece for those that enjoy the vaporwave genre.

Gameplay is fun, general design looks fantastic, movement for tricks is brilliant, story makes you want to see more constantly and the music is absolutely sick.

Thoroughly enjoyable and satisfying to play. If you get stuck with making power just spam wind turbines then everything will work.

In general, oxygen, food and health management is easy, crafting takes hardly any parts to make things and building a base with no enemies about is really fun, very glad I picked this up. Great job devs :)

Pro tip: If you tip over, ALT F4 the game and open it again and you will go back in time to before you flipped :)

Good game and exactly how I remember it at it's core, I'm glad that the jokes weren't changed from the original.

Good things:
- Levels have been redesigned massively compared to the original,
- Humour in the game is brilliant,
- Gameplay in general is fun,
- Natalya is hot as heck.

Bad things:
- There were a few missions where things would bug out a bit, towards the end of the game you're supposed to follow a vehicle, but another vehicle spawns inside of it so it doesn't move, but thankfully you can just presume where it's going to go and the mission carries on anyway,
- The addition of skins is a bit meh, the base game is fun enough, the DLC isn't needed in my opinion,
- Texture pop in is quite bad, I moved the game from my 5400RPM 4TB HDD to my SSD and although the pop in did improve (obviously) I would still see terrain and background objects pop in during fast camera repositioning like in cutscenes.

Other reviews have stated it crashes a lot, I had one crash during my entire playthrough and that was only towards the end of the game, others have mentioned missions that soft locked but I didn't experience that.

In short, if you loved the original as a kid then it's definitely worth picking up to remember the more simpler times :D

Played Paradise Killer through Xbox Games Pass and liked it so much I bought it on Steam and bought the artbook too. The environment, the characters, the music, the ambience, everything about this game has the two things I absolutely love, Japan and vapour-wave.

In general this game is so different to any other game I've played before and it was an absolute pleasure to play.

The only thing I'm a tiny bit sad about is that the Starlight backgrounds aren't available outside the game, I'd love to have them all as desktop wallpapers! I'm sure there's a reason for it though so it's fine :D
