I'll go ahead and say this is my favorite VR game so far. On flat screen it was sub par, nothing really popped. BUT in VR, everything is awesome! An borderlands esque looting system, decent voice acting, a real, not on rails story and a decent co-op multiplayer?!? I'm in love.

I have played this game alot. I mean ALOT, I played since before gamma release and absolutely LOVE this game. I made the slow climb from the starting sidewinder ship, to my current ship, one of the fastest, largest and by far sexiest ship the Imperial Clipper. On my way to the imperial clipper I have flown and develpoed a feel for every ship under it (Still find myself in the classic Cobra Mk III every once in a while) and I can say that every ship deserves a chance because you never know what ship might stick to you the most. The devs of this game are amazing, they answer question, they do AMAs, they create amazing updates. They are some of the best. This game is what encouraged me to buy the Oculus Rift, and let me tell you. This game has litterally THE BEST Rift support of ANY game out there. It is truly phenominal.
