After 20 years we're finally here.

Dwarf fortress is a game unrivaled in its complexity and detail.

This is a colony simulator. You begin your fortress with seven dwarves and no Snow White. Your job is to provide direction and advice to your dwarves. Order constructions, designate mining shafts, order the gathering of plants. Your dwarves are tired, hungry, and not all that bright but they will attempt to follow your guidance to the best of their abilities.

It is not for the faint of heart, and you will spend lots of time reading wiki pages on how various concepts and gameplay mechanics work in this game before you even begin to understand what is really going on.
There is no “winning” in this game, but only !!FUN!!. Your goals are whatever you decide they are. At any time, you may retire your fortress and place its management in the hands of your capable dwarven leaders and begin a new fortress or adventure anywhere else in the world.

Worlds? Every world is randomly generated and carefully infused with years of history and civilizations. Tales of war and peace, men and beasts, and civilizations of ages long ago will fill your taverns, all a part of each world’s generated history. Your fortress is no exception, and as you play your fortress and civilization will be remembered in the history books for future adventures in your world.

If you are decently literate and don’t mind using your noggin a bit, go ahead and buy this game. Just remember to take breaks and go outside from time to time. Your dwarves will be just fine…

This game is literally better than sex.

This game is like your own michael bay movie. Just buy it already.

XCOM 2: WOTC is the ultimate XCOM experience. The game assumes you got your ass kicked in the first one, and the difficulty is turned up a few notches. Deep tactical gameplay woven into a massive strategy layer makes you feel like you're running a real military operation.

If you liked XCOM:EU , you'll like the sequel. Just don't plan on playing multiplayer much, unfortunately that aspect seems to be completely dead although it is a fun game mode.

A legendary moba game, free to play.

This game is garbage but it's still the best battle royale game out there.

I bought H1Z1, but then once the devs got enough money they changed the name and went on a completely different path. Don't buy this. Just like H1Z1 this might not even be the same game in your library by next year.

EDIT 2019: They sold out and changed the name again and shut down the original servers. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. THIS GAME IS OFFICIALLY DEAD.
