Crashes on launch. Why is this $60 dollars again?

This is one of the best 4X games I've played recently. It's a huge improvement over Endless Space 1. Each of the factions has a lot of depth this time around with unique mechanics and faction quests, and, unlike in Endless Legend, the faction quests gives you some branching decisions to match what strategy you're going for. For instance, the United Empire quest gives you 3 choices at one point, one that gives you a gun that's powerful in the early and mid game, one that gives you a big industry boost, and one that gives you a big science boost.

My only big complaint right now is that it's too easy to win the economic victory. All you have to do is produce dust, and it's not like you have to save it for it to count. You can spend it and it will still count towards the economic victory, and with trade companies, it's very easy to get there because the income growth is exponential. There's not even an rationale for why producing dust makes you win. Maybe if it was like, you cornered the market or had total economic domninance in some way.

The card-based combat system is very tedious and doesn't make sense, and the in-game dialog and text is painful to read.

This game is simply unplayable and a waste of money. The CD key that Steam gave me doesn't seem to work with Windows Live, so I can't save my games at all.

Do not buy this game.
