This game's a shooter/puzzler whose strategy/mechanics made me think of the 8-bit classics Lode Runner and Boulderdash (although it's turn-based so not dependent on reflexes). As with most games "back in the day", there's no save game feature so you're going to have to play through it in one sitting (or leave a computer running it). It doesn't take long to beat though (took me a couple hours) and it's fun all the way through. It's cheaper than a movie ticket, has a great old school vibe, is well designed, and is challenging without being frustrating. And if you want more gaming hours out of it there's a level editor and workshop support, offering the potential of many more hours of enjoyment.

Pretty cool PvP or coop survival game. The crafting UI's overly complicated but not once you get the hang of it you can bumble through it. Lots of things to craft, dinosaurs to tame and ride, etc.

Great little twin-stick shooter. Kill, loot, mutate, and repeat in a nuclear wasteland with spaghetti western vibes. The "Nuclear Throne Together" mod makes online co-op, with 2 to 4 players, possible too.

Too hard, UI is weird (you can't click some buttons directly but rather have to position the mouse pointer a ways to the left of the button to click it), and feels too dated.

I love this weird game. It nails the feel of the open road. Multiplayer, in the development version currently, nails the feel of road trips. There's a lot of personality in the game from the devs and various fun, strange elements added. The cars are customizable and adjustable. Lose yourself in an eastern Europe-flavored, late 1980s post-apocalyptic world.

Cutscenes galore with intermittent button mashing combat and goofy minigames. I thought the game would have more of a GTA open world feel. Not my cup of tea.

I'm not crazy about the art style, but the game's pretty fun. Typical tower defence: place different types of towers to take out different kinds of enemies. Has lots of types of towers and lots of type of maps.

Punishing when you first start playing and trying to survive, but watch some video guides and you'll figure it out. Cool game.

Pure, constant mayhem. Achewood's "Great Outdoor Fight" in game form and in a variety of crazy settings (including lots of user-created ones in the Workshop).
