Maybe someday this will be a good game, but right now it is riddled with gamebreaking bugs, the servers are down with no word on when they'll come back, and the game isn't worth the money. It seems like the devs just ran out of money and hit the "publish game" button in a panic. It's going to take a long time before this game is worth what they're asking.

Up there with Rec Room and Space Pirate Trainer as THE games to have in VR. Modding the game allows for access to a constantly growing library of fan-made tracks, custom sabers, maps, even multiplayer. With many of these things also being in the pipeline to be added to the base game by the developer soon.

Completely broken game. No sound whatsoever, constant stuttering and flashing of the home screen. Thank god for the steam refund policy.

If you've played the previous Batman games, it will be easy to get frustrated with Arkham Origins. The real center of these games is hand-to-hand combat with large groups of thugs. That's what you'll be spending a large portion of the game doing, and it's never been more frustrating.

In past games, you were able to cancel out of any long animation Batman might be in the middle of in order to counter an attack coming from a thug behind you. In this game, not only do your animations have priority over your commands, but enemies can slide from a good distance away right up next to you to lay a sudden smack-down on the Bat, the whole while you are helpless to defend yourself. This makes the "Bat sense" warning signals above enemies' heads useless at least half of the time, since it will be impossible for you to counter them.

This is more or less emblematic of the problems with Arkham Origins: changes were made that make little sense and do a lot to detract from the experience. There's some fun to be had here for anyone desperate for more Batman after Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, but if you can hold out, you'd be better off waiting for Arkham Knight next year.

The movement controls are a little shaky, but this is by far the best Uncharted game ever made. Almost no tomb raiding, though, so don't expect any of that.

Also, skip all multiplayer DLC. Nobody's playing the multiplayer. Just get the one extra tomb.
