Awesome game, I enjoyed it a lot.
I'm really disappointed that there's no sequel.

This game is awesome! Sure, it's not Dead Space but it's more like Dead Space 2, still good but not the same. Story is decent and I enjoyed it alot.
Gameplay is goog, combat is fun and dynamic although GRP GLove (telekinesis) is rather useless. Pitty as it could be a feature of this game.
Graphics are ok although fire is terrible, it looks like it's animated in 30FPS, there are few minor bugs here and there but nothing major.
One complaint though. There's a game breaking bug with moving crate at start of chapter 4, to be able to move the crate I had to lock FPS at 60. At higher values crate dosen;t move preventing you from progressing.
All in all I highly recommend this game if you liked Dead Space, even more now when DS2 and 3 remakes have been canceled.
I really hope to see the sequel to The Callisto Protocol.

Awesome game.
If you like Devil May Cry you will probably like this game.
It's not as hard as DMC when it comes to higher difficulties.
It's fun to play on normal and the story is not bad.

All in all it's a good walking simulator. Story is decent and graphics are nice.
I really like this aesthetics of late 70s-80s SF. Grafics are good and gameplay is fine.
Text skipping would be nice but it's not there. Listening to all coverastions over and over again as you play to get all achievements can be really boreing after a while.
What I don't like are checkpoints and only one active save a lot. This force you to backup save files every now and agin if you want to check out different outcomes without replaying the whole game. And ther's one checkpoint that can lock you out of a Convoy List achievement.

Game now supports ultra wide resolutions.

Simply fantastic. Devs managed to capture the very essence of the first two movies from the 90s.

Very fun and engaging combat. I really like how you can use all the powers to deal with the enemies.

This could have been such a good game but instead we got this.
First of all controls and mechanics.
I play on xbox pad and my experience so far is beyond terrible.
Controls are unresponsive, I can't tell you how many times I felt cheated by the game.
I'm pressing block and nothing happens, I still get hit by an attack that should have been blocked. And it's time after time again and again throughout the whole game.
It feels that some inputs are being queued and other are not. This makes performing complicated combos almost impossible.
Fortunately you only need to learn one combo and its light attack, light attack, pause, heavy attack. This one stuns an enemy and you can kill him with a finisher.
At least that's all you neet till chapter 7 where heavy, armored spear guys com in. One of them killed me even without making contact so yeah, that's how good this game is.
I've picked up every upgrade in the game and last boss still kills me with one combo. In general it doesn't feel like pickups improve anything. Well, stamina is bigger so that's something.

Better save yourself some frustration and play something else.

If you're interested in the story you can play ion easy but the story is so boring I stopped paying attention in chapter 3. Boy loves girl and he will go to hell and back for her. Nothing special or engaging.

It's so boreing.
Every mission I've played so far is exactly the same.
Kill all seed carriers and hold out 3 turns for extraction. There is very little enviromental interaction that was so advertised in the tutorial. Enemy plays always the same and I'm sick and tierd of stun granade -> granade that will explode next turn -> overwatch or suppress to pin me in place.
And oh man those scrabble turns....
Escape button doesn't work because who would use escape button to exit menus right? Graphics remind me of Warcraft 3, aesthetic that completely doesn't work with grim future of Warhammer 40k.
I was so happy when it came out in Humble Choice. Now I know why it was so soon after release.
