This is the most worth-it DLC I've ever purchased, even above Muse Dash's Just as Planned DLC. If you're a fan of TaroNuke, NotITG, or just rhythm games being a little too quirky, you will absolutely love this DLC.

also please dont write a bad review just because of t5 thats not very nice of you to do

Early Access Review
Let me first say that VRChat is not a game for me to run around maps and play games. I have other stuff I can play for that.

No, I use this to sit down and talk with friends, and I've been especially using that more during this horrible pandemic being pretty much locked inside waiting until I could finally get the planets to align and get my vaccine. I get that a lot of the maps are fun and all, and every once in a while I'll find a puzzle map to play around in, but for the most part, it's just nice to have that human interaction I've been starved of for nearly the past two years. I really missed it. And I'm glad that I'm lucky enough to have the VR equipment to fully enjoy that. I've been playing VRChat for more than 209 hours at the writing of this review thanks to playing the Oculus version (and Quest 2) so while I can't say exactly how many hours I've played, I know it's been enough to get me to Known User and start feeling phantom sense when someone pets me on the head. It's started to feel more like home to me than my actual home. I don't live in a great place at the moment and it's nice to use this as an escape for a bit.

Yeah I wish the community wasn't so weird and toxic at times but with the right people I really enjoy talking to strangers for 5 hours straight in front of a mirror.

I'm really hoping they have more of these kinds of games planned, I really enjoyed this. You can beat it in about two hours if you're soaking in more than the puzzles, but it's probably the most fun two hours I've had in a while and I masturbated like three times the other week.

Whoo, boy.

Alright, so, first of all, I really hate this game now. I mean, it was super fun at the beginning, but after receiving the anniversary weapons (and then receiving them AGAIN then next year), I realized that I already had the best melee in the game. I could kill NPCs and even sparring buddies in the dojo with one swing of the damn things. It's ridiculous, and it just takes the fun out of all of it to basically speed through the campaign to get the Broken War, THINK you have the most OP from EARNING it, and then two weeks later have the devs be like "oh hey have this thing to put your +500% mods on and obliterate everything", and hand you these two Space Mom swords just for having an account during the game's anniversary. You don't even have to have the account for a year, just have one before the game's birthday and there you go, free OP melee.

On top of that, there's the grinding. I normally do not mind grinding, but this wasn't grinding for items. This was grinding for experience. And even then, I normally am all about that. But the way this game works with that is completely garbage. The way you get EXP or whatever is if you use weapons or warframes that aren't max rank. And that's a big problem for me. I have the most OP melee, why would I not use that? And my primary, while not as OP, is the Paris Prime, and I love bows and snipers. So I'm sticking with that until I can find a sniper or bow I like better. So I'm left with constantly switching out my secondary which I never ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ use. And if I wanna get that EXP faster? I gotta use it. I'm not gonna use that thing, ♥♥♥♥ that thing, it sucks. I'm gonna just do what I always do and what always works and press the damn melee button while holding Shift+W and tapping the ♥♥♥♥ out of the Ctrl key, maybe tapping space bar every once in a while to copter around and go faster to just get this awful level over with already.

Honestly, I hate bagging on games, I love games as a whole and I always know that someone out there enjoys any game I hate. But I'm so sick of everything this game offers, from the weapons to the warframes to even the cute little fuzzy kubow cubs, and I just can't give anything I like about this game that makes it worth playing.

So why do I keep playing this game? I even abandoned the campaign after it went to crap from the Ass Dammit update, so why am I still pressing that stupid play button?

Friends. That's it, friends. My best friend plays it, my Discord group plays it, and just about every person I meet gets excited to find out we both have Warframe. And I'll admit, when you have friends to play it with, it's actually kinda bearable, and almost fun again.

Almost.

EDIT: I don't have a reason to try the new content, not gonna do it.

I'm glad something like this exists. It's awesome. But how it is now, it's not working at all. It's way too needy in terms of what you have in your computer, and even if it says your machine isn't ready, it's easy to be proven wrong.

However, I still recommend this program. If you just ignore the summary that Steam gives you at the end, you can get a pretty good gauge of performance yourself. If you have an FPS counter, you can clearly see what your real performance is. I get well over the required 90 frames with my GPU, and I can see that the settings on it have hardly dipped below Very High. Not sure what's going on with the report, but it says that it fails and drops frames, even at Low settings. However, I've actually done plenty of VR on this machine, and even at the highest settings, my machine just rips through it, not even skipping a beat unless at loading, which is kind of expected.

If you want to know how your machine performs in VR, use this and stick around to really watch its performance. I know for a fact if you have anything at GTX 760 4GB performance or better, you can definitely run VR.
