Wonderful style and gameplay, a banging soundtrack, great unlock structure and overall just a blast to play. If you liked Absolute Drift, you'll love what art of rally has to offer

Endless hours of fun with a simple premise is what makes RoR2 so great. Add in the fact that it also make for a great co-op experience as well as a solo one and you have a game that can be enjoyed alone or with friends

Subset games brings yet another Strategy based Sci-Fi game to the table, this time in the form of some Mech & Monster Madness. Through brilliant game design they manage to make yet another intriguing, highly replayable and incredibly enjoyable indie title that'll keep you entertained for hours and have you shouting every curse word in the book when the monsters decide to ♥♥♥♥ your day up

Incredibly fun and a great game to play with friends, The game in it's current state is a boatload of laughs and with Steam Workshop on the horizon for it, there's even more good times to be had.

Kill ♥♥♥♥, Punch Demons, Break Necks

I give this a Demon/Doom

(The only negative I can give the game is multiplayer being incredibly subpar compared to the singleplayer, but honestly the singleplayer and all the death and destruction it offers is well worth it)

By far one of the most addicting and fun games I have had the pleasure of playing. Controls are straightfoward and react as you want them to. The levels are well thought out as well as the way you learn new skills. Overall, an awesome game at an even better price point.

Some suggestions:
-Level Editor (w/ Steam Workshop integration)
-Multiplayer

TL:DR - Poor optimization holds this game back from its full potential. I would reccomend picking this game up on sale but not in any other situation with the current state of the game.

--FULL REVIEW--

Mortal Kombat X is definitely a great game for beginners and experienced fighter veterans alike. Fighting in the game is a great experience regardless of which character you choose, with plenty of variety in fighting styles, kombos and moves adding plenty of depth to the game. The fighting itself is challenging but very satisfying, making blocking at the wrong time or a missed kick turn into a very fatal situation.

The various game modes also provide endless hours of fun, and the new gameplay modifiers can provide for some very interesting and histerical fights. The 'Living Towers' , which change after a certain amount of time, are my personal favorite as they always bring some new challenge to the table.

There are some fairly annoying issues on PC, however.

Online is, unfortunately, nearly unplayable. Matchmaking takes ages to actually find a an opponent and once it does, they are usually not of your skill level either (Either brand new or a much higher level). This turns players away from the game and can make it difficult for new players to get the experience they need since they can't have fair fights.

Performance of the game is also an issue. Even running this on a fairly High-End PC (780 Ti, I7, 32GB RAM), the game experiences random drops in FPS and momentary lag, even offline. This can be especially annoying when the fight is coming down to only a few punches and that two second frame stutter ends up with your head being torn off.

Overall, Mortal Kombat X is a solid entry in the franchise, easy to pick up and great for beginners and pros alike. Unfortunately, a sub-par PC port holds the game back from its full potential. If the developers fix these issues, this game would definitely be able to stand the test of time and become a solid competitive and casual game all the same.

Score: 6/10
