A very lovely puzzle game that changes up the pace of new mechanics quite well so you don't find yourself getting bored of anything super repetitive.

The story elements and lore behind the game a very tastefully done, and definitely get you interested in the characters of the world, even has you self reflecting in parts. Cait is a lovely puzzle solving partner complimenting you along the way, wish i had treats to give him but at least there's plenty of pets he got!

A very peaceful atmosphere and overall the game never gets too stressful where you get frustrated, and plenty of secrets and Easter eggs to hunt for.

Overall I greatly enjoyed it and may at some point try to finish the achievements, highly recommend it if you love puzzle games and photography.

A wonderful open adventure, especially as very soon you'll be able to play with just your friends on a ship and leisurely sail the seven seas.

A whole lot of different events to do, if you ever get bored of doing the same type of mission, and random events help give you an easy change of pace.

Definitely best with friends, and plan to play this for quite awhile.

Excellent retro style shooter, with some minor modern upgrades.

Hub world is a nice touch to take a breath and look at upgrades.

The variety of weapons is nice and once you tune the visual styles to your liking(at least play to the next level or two, as the first one is a little greyscale due to the area).
different CRT styles if you really want the full effect.

The movement is smooth and quite fast paced if you stay on sprint, a straight run n gun like serious sam, but a little more manageable to beat.
And the soundtrack is awesome and keeps the blood pumping while you're mowing enemies down.

A wonderful change of pace from usual game releases, love getting to scratch and meow my way around the sewers, and take cat naps in many places.

The story is somewhat simple but still intriguing and it doesn't drag itself out for too long.
Overall a 6-10hr game depending on your playstyle, but well worth it for the environment visuals and making robot friends.

Hoping to maybe see a nice sequel to this, if they can think of a good continuation to the story.

A fresh take on the L4D style, love what the perk/corruption cards can bring to the table.

The corruption cards can make levels incredibly different and difficult, but the challenge is nice.
There are a few bugs, but nothing too game breaking.(Seen a special jump thru the ground partially, and get stuck.)
The bot AI could use some work, as they will easily teleport to other teammates when you're downed.

Overall if you can fill a lobby this game will be incredibly fun, and the bots usually don't hinder you all the time at least.
The gunplay is nice, and the attachments add a level of customization to every gun.

So far I've made it thru the first two acts, overall when you're just jumping in be careful to use the easiest difficulty until you're familiar with the levels and how your perks work. As friendly fire is on with veteran and above.

I really enjoyed this expansion so far, I still want to go back and see if I can complete the bonus additions to the generator, as I limped my way across the finish, so be prepared, and when you have the chance, stockpile as many resources as possible.

Overall, it's refreshing to play it with non-snowy visuals, different laws, and definitely expect to restart your run a couple times as you learn how quickly you can lose control if you're not staying on top of motivation and discontent.
I never had to restart due to any bugs that had been listed, just where I slacked on improving motivation every chance i had.

I can understand the price a little bit, I picked this up with the season pass, as I knew I wanted every scenario they had scheduled so far, so that was around $20, if you're just getting this one, I'd say between $10-15, if you're on the fence about it.

Fairly good game, campaign was a fresh style on 2016, I prefer both in their own ways, a lot more platforming in this one, especially once you get to the DLC(too much imo).

Music isn't as good as the first, fights have good pacing overall, not constant('cept for Ancient Gods I DLC), visuals looked really good, though textures aren't quite as high res as 2016, but it balances out quite well.

Multiplayer is kinda throwaway, 2v1 PvP, and either way you can be stomped, and it's been on and off with hosting stability, as I've gone several matches in a row be disconnected, and when trying to finish out weeklies that I only have so much time for, it gets annoying and makes me stop playing, got tired of throwing an hour or two away with little to no progress.

So if you liked 2016, I believe you'll enjoy Eternal, just maybe try the main game before thinking you're all in on the DLC, I bought it all close to launch, and kind of regret how the DLC turned out, still enjoyed it, but it took far too long to finish for how few levels there are(granted they're fairly big, but length is extended by the difficulty of the missions).

DLC:

For ancient gods part 1, it felt like work and more of a chore, rather than slaying fun. I wanted to toss the whole machine out the window, I played the base game and ancient gods on Ultra Violence, which I feel the difficulty between the two was a bit too vast, without truly noting so, be prepared for 4-8x demons, and battles where you'll face off every demon in the game in one 20 minute battle.

Overall I felt like I was fairly rushed through it, and there was really no environment to explore, just constant high stress battles, with only one pace. I'm hoping the second part offers more variety in battle paces, instead of just a steady stream of heart attack inducing rage.

I managed to beat it on ultra violence with no sentinel armor, but it took me close to 2 months and several sessions that were hours long, I don't mind it, but I also have other games I'd like to get around to instead of a game trying to consume my life.

So far this is fairly dicey, I can't recommend, unless it gets better soon, if you plan to crossplay, good luck, invites between xbox and steam are non-existent. To top it off, I crashed right at the castle age, so I'm unsure as if that will be regular, or random, either way, I feel I wasted my money so far by buying it, if it cant stay stable.

Update:
---------------
It appears that private games are difficult to join sometime. they've patched the crashing, so i greatly appreciate it. Invites are still iffy, but it seems regardless of platform, I've since been able to put a lot of good games in, only one crash since the patch, so overall it's good, ideally the easier way to invite everyone is just be on one platform, or at the very least have an xbox account logged in on win10 and you should be able to get em easily.

I've loved minesweeper since my grandpa ran me thru how the game worked many summers ago(it was his at work game while he had nothing better to do). Though since then, I've tried going back to minesweeper and it just can't hold my attention long enough, but now with this! You get items, where-in you either get buffs, de-buffs, armor to help out, minions to travel the board and help you out.

This can still definitely be frustrating at times depending how the RNG treats you, but overall is worthwhile, I've loved playing it, and can't wait to finish quest II, despite dying hundreds of times, I've loved the art, music and gameplay, so if you're looking for minesweeper but spicier, I'd say pick this one up.

As long as you're okay with a fairly repetitive game loop, you should enjoy this game.

You basically manage a police department, and the best part is when city hall complains about your performance RIGHT after they cut your staff by 50%, yeaaa, hard to manage a city with 3 cops and 1 alocholic. Overall though it's fun, and a nice challenge to see how well you end up balancing everything.

I really enjoy this game as a wind down game for the day, I can get lost in the little details of investigations and all the other extra tasks
