Unfortunately there is an issue with mapping the controls on a controller that was never fixed despite multiple discussions on their page. It makes the game unplayable so I had to return it. I can see now after so many years that they patched the game twice, and ran off with their money.

First ranked match...
Get connected somewhere in Eastern Europe for server.... absolute fail
Then get disconnected right away because - im in north america.
Game fails to pause or do anything while I reconnect.
Get into game with 2 seconds to build.
Leak over and over again because no income is built in due to leaking first few waves.
Have teammate that will not FF.
Fix your sh*t devs.

Do not recommend using calling cards because the flags are full on leftist lol… Where are the country flags ffs?

"FREE" DLC but you need the first game.
Insane.

Unfortunately this isn't like autochess. Balancing might be an issue because there's too much RNG you have no control over and the shared pool of heroes and global items make the game kinda snowball if you know what you are doing. Once you have a team assembled you just spend your extra gold to prevent the second in place from getting a good piece they need.

It was fun to stomp a few matches but the shared pool means you can't really play around with synergy strats like the original autochess.

Pros
- Is challenging
- Nice graphics and well designed levels
- Lots of different paths and conversations

Cons
- When you die, the save feature doesn't always work, sending you hours back in game time.
- The game has no real tutorial and you are left finding things out on your own.

From a player perspective, the game sounds pretty solid.
The game modes are fun, and i'd say it was built to be a sort of mix between csgo and overwatch, pretty much for esports.
I gave the game a try and pretty much what my friends said have been confirmed

with that in mind, here's some problems
1- "reporting" system is a joke - good luck solo queuing.
2- bugs and exploits aren't fixed until a huge youtuber or pro gamer post about it (caveira only took over 2 years)
3- servers are not 128 tick
4- netcode and hitreg needs a tweak
5- mmr system is very basic for a team based game
6- balancing is a constant struggle between attackers and defenders

So, pick up the game if you got friends, but otherwise its not very fun in a competitive manner.

Good anticheat, theyve made great strides since getting money from publishers like fortnite.

Fix Cs2... get rid of subtick and add 128 or let the big boys with good anticheat offer a better service.... also fix your servers, so laggy.

After dealing with 2 weeks of support having issues registering me, i finally got the game to work.

i waited a long time to edit this review.

i still dont recommend the game, unless its gifted/on sale
besides king of the hill, which is a bit of fun with friends, this game has nothing else going for it.

point system for skins isnt even about playing a lot, its a betting system that you have to win 3-5 games in top 10 then next game you HAVE to get in that ranking to convert to points.
