It's pretty short and not a whole lot of replayability I guess, but the aesthetics are great and the soundtrack slaps so much I had to go and get it on bandcamp. Just a super chill game to mindlessly strafe jump around alien worlds and kill stuff to nice tunes.

This game made me relate to things I pretty much don't have anything in common with.
Every backgrond is a work of art, the soundtrack mesmerizing, the world feels melancholic, yet cozy and nostalgic.
All of the main characters (and a few side ones!) are made memorable by how bizarre or surreal they are.
The story itself is one of the best works of sci-fi I got the pleasure to experience in a while.

A masterfully crafted experience that uses the potential of the videogame medium to its full extent.

Very fun horde game, high replay value due to many different characters and builds. Could benefit from being more clear regarding how upgrades affect your skills, cause right now you gotta have the wiki open to make really crazy builds.

It's an engine for wallpapers

Every patch that comes out seems untested and regularly breaks other things.
The devs apparently have no clue on how to approach balance and are still figuring it out, which is probably forgivable given the game hasn't been out that long.

The main gameplay loop is fun, but it can get tedious when out of the entire arsenal only a handful of weapons are actually viable at higher difficulties.

Update: the balance is currently in an "ok" spot. More of the arsenal has been made viable or at least fitting it's niche, but plenty of weapons remain borderline useless.

Phenomenal game for booming and shooting.
The level design is out of this world, certified 'must play' for fans of the genre

I'm not much of a fan of the increased map size, besides that everything else is just straight up an upgrade from the original.
You can also choose to disable some or all of the new features if you wish.
New characters, new enemies, new modes, new items, skins, new level variants.

I found the many gimmicks infuriating, would not play again.
