The soundtrack is about the only thing I liked in this mod. Puzzles honestly felt like a chore most of the time, and there's a lot of them. Fights too are nothing to write home about, usually being just a bunch of NPCs thrown at you in uncreative ways.
The absolutely worst thing was the driving section: the vehicle is buggy and the driving is constantly interrupted by some awful, boring puzzle that ultimately opens yet another door.
Friendly NPCs are often bugged, forcing me to reload a previous save in order to progress. Overall a pretty frustrating experience. It clearly shows potential and surely a lot of work went into this, but it needs polishing.

It's a reasonably fun game if played with friends and if you're a fan of the Alien franchise.
However, the max team size is 3, which is a bit small. Me and my friends had to take turns with someone sitting out, and the worst part is ALL players must have progressed to the mission being hosted, meaning that as we rotated players we had to clear the same missions 4 times.

Possibly one of the best hl2 mods out there. Great level design, tons of new content, lengthy campaign, it's overall an amazing experience. My only gripe with it is the incredibly cringe writing and dialogues which felt to me like a bad fanfiction, but you can still tell it was made with passion.

I'm ♥♥♥♥ at it but it's a fun game.It's basically a boss rush with lots of different levels, actually challenging with lots of variety in boss design.Thanks to a time-based leaderboard, you're incentivized to play aggresively in order to clear a boss as fast as possible. Basically as you get better there's gradually a shift from being scared for your life and playing safe, to teleporting right inside of bosses and tearing them apart, and that's when the game becomes the most fun.

UPDATE: yeah it's an alright game

Compared to Doom I and II, this game has a much more oppressive atmosphere.
It trades flashy combat in open arena-type maps, for claustrophobic, cramped levels full of traps and puzzles/secrets, and the crazy metal music for an eerie ambient soundtrack.
Arguably has the best level design of any Doom game.
