This is a game that I keep coming back to time and time again and I wish I could forget it all and start fresh. So I tried the second best thing and decided to give it another go, this time in VR.

All I can say is - WOW!!!!!

I was a little bit sceptical at first using a controller and wasn't sure how playable it really was, but boy am I glad I gave it a shot! Totally playable start to finish. This game MUST be experienced in VR! The level of tension and immersion is absolutely incredible. My only hope now is that Subnautica 3 comes with VR mode right from release.

This is an epic sandbox adventure!

Great game overall, improves on the original in many ways. Even though the world is not quite as big (or terrifying) to explore, it is still enjoyable. Only gripe is the above-sea weather effects make it way too difficult to see in some parts. Looking forward to a third game when it comes out.

Holy smokes! The other reviews are correct. This is one insane, incredible game! It is best not to know anything about the game and just play it blind and enjoy the journey...
