I still cannot connect to any game as of March 11th, 2024.
Edit: Still can't play or refund this game after attempting 36 hours.

It's 2024, and this game still has Denuvo. I got hit by the Denuvo activation error after playing for 3 hours and was expected to wait 24 hours.

Sega, you have the GOG version, one that is clear of any DRM - why is the Steam copy still riddled with horrible DRM?

The current tags are a bit misleading, and there are some minor localization issues, and resolution doesn't appear to go beyond 1440p. Other than those minor issues though, the gameplay and art style are both great. No complaints for what I got for 3 dollars,

Horny and meme comments aside, the game is actually surprisingly good. Its dialogue writing and cutscenes were genuinely funny at times, and the game mechanics and the minigames were also great. It unfortunately still feels like it's missing something though - I feel like there should be other additional in-game activities and whatnot to spice up the gameplay a little bit.

I cannot recommend this product at ~$55 full price. This is a lazy, cash grab port at best. Without community support, this game is borderline unacceptable. Get your stuff together, Sega.

Pros:
- Project DIVA, running on the PC, natively - without resorting to dodgy PDAFT dump.
- PS4 controller support via Steam; other controller icons are supported as well and can be selected in the options.

Cons:
- The game literally renders the "初音ミク" text as "????" on some languages of the game - and I don't mean unrenderable text, I mean *literally* question marks in ASCII. This can be proven by looking at the memory.
- Missing four tracks: Saturation, Hato, Nekomimi Archive, Ivean Polkka. None of this is mentioned in the game descrption.
- The game is capped at 60fps with unstable frame-pacing. Looking at the code suggests bad frame limiter code.
- The UI is god awful on monitors above 1080p. The UI textures are rendered at 1080p, which means if you try looking at the game UI on a 4k monitor, it will likely be *very* blurry depending on your monitor size.
- Denuvo. Enough said.

All of the above (except UI texture and Denuvo) can be fixed with mods that we as a community spent less than 3 days to fix and implement. I simply cannot recommend the full package at $50.

The fact that it now has an Android version speaks volume about how the developer is still keeping the software alive.

The Life is Strange I once knew and loved is back. I walked into this with all the doubt in the world that the series could ever comeback after Life is Strange 2 and Tell Me Why. They weren't *bad* games - but the story simply didn't grip me at all. Shortly after started playing True Colors, I realized just how much I was audibly commenting about the characters as I play.

"She's such a dork," I said many times throughout the game. It reminded me of Life is Strange 1 and Before the Storm. The characters were likable, and there was a well balance between the much needed humor that Life is Strange 2 was simply lacking. I genuinely felt attached to the story and its characters.

Well done, Deck Nine. You've outdone yourself again.

Works perfectly on the Deck *and* isn't run on a decade old engine

The only VR title I've ever played from start to finish. Can't wait for Half Life 3 - if I get to play it.
