I've played every Assassins Creed there is besides the 2d platformers and Syndicate. I tried going in order and ended up skipping this and Syndicate for Origins and Odyssey.

I just couldn't do it. This game is a slog. Freerunning feels so clunky, the RPG system feels like a hurdle to time-gate you, (this can be argued for the newer games in Origins and Odyssey, but the customization made it interesting) and you could not pay me to care about the characters in the story.

I will say that unless you really load up on tools and leveled weapons, you will have a very difficult time progressing through this game. I realized about halfway through that this, infact, was not fun. I put it down. I may finish it in the future, but honestly if you want to play an Assassins Creed, go play the Ezio series or the new ones.

1/3 of the game is just time waster tasks. No clues. No detective work. Just running around doing trial and error stuff or looking for things that have no reason to be hidden so well. The lore is pretty well presented and I loved the attention to detail on all the chalkboards and notes. Its not fun, but it was interesting. The endings have you going "oh.. okay I guess."

I will be married with children when this game will be completed. Thats not ok

I love this game, I cant play it though, I am too scared. Stuck in an area. I'm sure I can get past it but its way too scary to even complete. If you want a terrifying experience, play this game.

very cool game, very grindy, great time eater. Very fun with friends! VERY Very! BE WARNED: This game wants your money and makes things harder for you if you dont pay, but if you have the time to invest, you can work around that.
