EDIT: After changing internet providers all of my issues of input lag and stutter are gone, making this game much much more enjoyable. In the end it was my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ internet connection with jittery ping. ♥♥♥♥ them.


At the current time of writing this I have 117 Hours of gameplay. I enjoy the game play, just like vermintide 2 it is very addicting and fun as well as the lore surrounding the game and I really want to give this game a positive review but I really just can't. I have tried to play this game tirelessly and not have bugs ruin the game play so much so that it is unplayable.

I understand that bugs here and there are one thing and generally I can look past that with no issue at all, but these bugs have been persistent from release to current day. Aside from the irritating crashes and sometimes constant server disconnects, all of my friends who play this game do not have the issues I am having and I've put collectively 10 hours into trying to diagnose my issue. I'm stuck with this awful glitch/bug that I can only describe as server lag or input lag. So much so it happens every single game, some worse than others but I can count on it to happen every. single. game.

You want to switch to your melee because you're in close quarters?
Nope! Half the animation plays and smacks me right back to my ranged weapon.

You want to dodge an attack from a crusher because he hurts a lot?
Nope! The game decides that I didn't actually strafe to the right or left and places me right back in front of him mid-swing!

You want to charge an attack?
Nope! You did a single light attack or sometimes don't even attack at all!

Sometimes it gets bad enough where if I fire an automatic weapon shots don't register within the volley of fire or the gun stops fire abruptly like I let go of left click. I did not.

Thats just to name a few and it gets considerably worse when there are hordes/lots of enemies.

The only solace I have in this issue is there is a forum post talking about other people having this exact same problem and I can only hope this gets resolved because I really do want to enjoy this game and will happily change my review but please, with love, fix the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers.

After about 30 hours of the game so far I think its safe to say that this isn't going to be the end of it, only just the beginning. Especially considering its still an early access game. Normally I try and avoid those types of games because usually they're riddled with bugs and glitches. I'm really happy to say that in my time playing I have yet to come across a game breaking bug (both literally and in-game) So with all things considered on that end, It's doing very well!

The concept of this game was a huge draw for me. I love co-op games I can play with my friends and this game is actually really really fun when you run a 4 man squad of friends, hilarity and carnage ensues. I've played both solo and in groups and for me it's still enjoyable alone but its always better with friends, no denying that. The game also provides quite a challenge when you bump the difficulty up.

Starting off in what seemed to be at the time a really cool spaceship then immediatley coming to find out that it's the worst ship in the game, and now I'm happy to say after almost 400 hours I have one of the best.

Seeing the changes that have been done since I got the game back in early 2016 to now have been really good and as of the most recent update, its only looking brighter. Yes, I will openly admit there is a grind for some of the things you need to do. But often times the payout for it is very worth it. The community on this game is not something I myself got very involved in but from what im aware, its very vibrant and active in a postive way. (for the most part) Another aspect I enjoy about this game is depending on your mood you can do what you want. Want to go crazy and blow ♥♥♥♥ up? Theres a place to do that. Want to go explore star systems that people havent even found yet? Go wild and discover it! Want to sit mindlessly and watch your ship collect mining materials?! You can even do that! This game can keep you very very busy if you let it, theres always something to do. I'm still not done with this game, not by a long shot.

tl;dr; Great Game, have wasted countless hours if not days of my life roaming this game doing whatever it is I could think of. and I'm not done yet.

Are you bored of a desktop that doesnt move? Pay $4 to make your desktop move. Personally worth it if you ask me, much fun has been had, tons of customizable options.

After purchasing the ultimate edition, the game is still telling me to buy the ultimate edition?? Amazing.

Menus are laggy and buggy as hell and the aiming is easily the worst. Plain and simple.

Honestly, I really do love this game. I've played constantly in the past week or so after buying it earlier this year. So I started up a new survival game. Finally unlocked the Cyclops and, poof, my game now after maybe hardly 30 seconds of being loaded into the game crashes. I don't recall it doing this earlier this year...I don't know what the issue is because I have all the settings on its lowest possible option and I'm running on three year old hardware that was top of the line at that time. So I don't really think it has anything to do with my hardware's performance.

tl;dr: Game crashes constantly after getting really far in the game and continues to crash.

Please fix this, I really do enjoy this game. :(

Played the game again for a couple of hours and things went fine, thought the updates in these past couple of months fixed it. Low and behold roughly 6 hours in, it crashes after 5 seconds of me going back in-game. So sick of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
