Good game but too much grinding is necessary. I would recommend playing on Radiant. I wish someone told me that.

The game is excellent. I was sceptical about the episodic release so I waited until the full season was released but in hindsight that was a mistake. There are a million ways to kill your targets, new challenges, contracts and elusive targets (Sadly I missed most of them).

But it is not perfect. What is bothering me most is the AI. You can easily use every cheap trick from 10 years ago and it will still work. Coins for example: What makes you want to investigate a short metallic sound that much? Plus you have to have super hearing to hear a coin in every situation, regardless of how noisy the situation is. AND people don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ investigate a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ coin for that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long!

Another con is the constant online requirement for challenges and what not. My connection is fairly stable so didn't bother me much but just FYI.

Definitely a good buy.

First of all I must say this is not a bad game but it is also not 96% positive good so I just wanted to balance the scales a bit.

After reading so many positive reviews praising its story and characters I expected something unique. But every character, every plot twist was something I've seen before. The story was full of obvious foreshadowings, metaphors, red herrings, plot holes (which is a problem with every piece of fiction containing time travel I've encountered so I don't blame them much) and, oh my god, drama (The fact that they often made fun of themselves about this particular issue does not help much). Plus after 5 episodes of choosing, everything practically comes down to one final decision. Either you go back to the first time you ever made an important decision or you let nearly everyone who were affected by your decisions die. Which is normal since you play a time traveling protagonist but not fun.

The rest of the aspects are also not perfect but relatively insignificant.
The graphics are trying to be artsy and succeeds most of the time but sometimes it is plain bad (e.g. posters and pictures on the walls).
Lip sync is very, very bad. I am not only talking about it being out of sync. It is sometimes non-existent. I mean that literally. There were times the lips or the face didn't move at all while talking.

I've only written the negative things about the game since everyone has already written every positive thing many times over. Story was the biggest thing that bothered me because I had very high expectations so don't make the same mistake. Other than that it is a good enough game and worth buying.

After reading some reviews on Steam I was expecting a buggy, hard to control disaster. But that is not the case, at least at the time of my review. They are generally right though.

+ Graphics are more beautiful than ever
+ Soundtrack is good
+ Side chapters where you play as a single one of the trio are fun. The only challenging parts, not much though...
+ Some new mechanics (e.g. Zoya's rope can be used to attach two objects)

+/- They handled the change from 2D to 3D well enough. Controls need some polish. I died many times mistaking that the floor was beneath me or that the ledge was in front etc. but that happened with every 3D platformer I played (e.g. Lego games), so no hard feelings. But why they felt the need and tried to fix something not even remotely broken is beyond me.

- Game ends but story doesn't. Not an open ending, just cut in half...
- Game is too short: I finished every main and side chapter in 5h
- No skills or character progression of any kind.
- Collectibles are now in abundance and in easy places compared to first two. Since there is no charecter progression they are now used to unlock chapters. Once you are (quickly) done with that there is no reason to collect them other than achievement purposes (or maybe you just wanna).
- Achievements are boring. Only two types: Finish that chapter and collect everything in that chapter
- "Puzzles" are too easy and the game generally feels dumbed down compared to first two

I loved the first two but merely enjoyed this one. My theory is they ran out of resources before they could finish what they planned. Still, it is a good game, it is worth buying (probably not at full price). I hope the next one will be better.

+ Great art/graphics
+ Good music
+ I like Greek Mythology
+ Surprisingly large world with side quests, secrets, minigames etc.
+ Achievements are done right. They are fun to do and helpful (except one which requires you to replay the game on the highest difficulty)
- The combat contols... I wasn't in contol even at the end of the game and I am not saying that as a rookie gamer (I played with keyboard mouse combo. I don't know how it is with a conroller)
- Inventory system... There are many items (melee weapons, ranged weapons, consumables, throwables) and no way to get rid of the unwanted ones. After a while it becomes too cluttered. In the heat of the battles this causes major annoyances

I bought it on sale but despite its quirks it is worth the full price

First, let's look at the facts:
- The graphics are now in pixels
- Music is completely new
- Way more combos, secrets, rooms, endings, monsters, bosses, playable characters
- New save slot system, you can now save your runs instead of losing them upon exiting the game
- New challenge system. You can play play the game with preset challenges and get rewards upon completion.
- There is a mention of co-op (didn't try it).
- Overall better production quality

So, why do I not recommend it?
1. Because I don't like pixels. There is a flash filtering option to decrease the effect but not good enough for me.
2. Because I don't like the music. I liked the first game's music but I don't like this one's.

As you can see both are very subjective but they were enough to keep me from enjoying the new features.

Good game. I definitely recommend it especially if you are a fan of the Borderlands series. There are many important plot points which sets the scene for the next game but I want to write two things that bugged me the most.
1. Checkpoint intervals are very long. Plus there is no manual save option. I think they made it so that you don't change your decisions constantly since it has been this way for years. But it doesn't make it less annoying. When you exit the game for whatever reason if you don't time it exactly right you may have to repeat 10 - 20 minutes long part of the game. This is just impractical. It wouldn't be that long and annoying if we were able to skip some of it which brings me to the second thing.
2. There is no skipping anything (Except the credits but if you do it Telltale will remember that). Not the epsiode intros, not the cutscenes, not the dialogs, nothing. I am not writing this as a story hater but as a repetition hater. There are many dialog options and most of them are well written so I want to see them all but being forced to play the same part over and over to see some additional content becomes exhausting very quickly. I get why they wouldn't want that on the first playthrough but also on replays? I can't help but think that this is a lazy way to get more playtime.

These two major points aside it was a really fun and funny game. 8/10

Good game. The developers cheat a little to make the final twist happen they even lie in the game's description but good game nonetheless.

Script cliches, badly written dialog, nowhere near interesting story, senseless item combinations, poor interactable placement, over-sexualized damsel in distress, stereotypes, narration over black screen, low voice-over quality... I can't think of a single positive thing about this game. Its best qualities are mediocre at best. I sincerely hope the following 2 games are better or this will only be a waste of time and money.
