Excellent story.

Like developers said before the release, the game has a solid foundation for a really great game, but needs to be expanded upon with content. Mechanics are there, heists are great and much better then in payday 2. Broken launch and lack of content hurts this game much at this moment, but hopefully in time this will be changed for the better. I'm having fun with what is now in the game, but I admit the price can hurt for this amount of content.

Jedna z najlepszych ściganek arcade'owych. Gram od momentu premiery i zawsze chętnie do niej wracam. Możliwość niszczenia trasy by zyskać przewagę jest nowatorska i przyjemna. Styl kontroli samochodów sprawia dużo frajdy. Szkoda, że oryginalnie nie sprzedała się dobrze i nie dostaliśmy implikowanego w zakończeniu sequela.

Istnieje fanowski projekt, gra Close/Call, która chce być spirytualnie następcą Split/Second. Można ją kupić w EA na steamie, ale na razie jeszcze jest dużo pracy by stworzyć ją do końca.

Naprawdę dobrze wykonana wielka strategia mimo wczesnego dostępu. Dopiero zaczynam i uczę się, ale zapowiada się ciekawa fabuła, w której bierze się dosyć aktywny udział poprzez działania swoich agentów i swoje decyzje. Z czasem pewnie zaktualizuję recenzję jak zagram więcej i będę też więcej rozumiał. Jestem zadowolony z zakupu, w mojej opinii warto.

Aktualizacja po większym czasie gry: Jestem zadowolony z zakupu. Gra jest naprawdę ambitna i wymaga dużo czasu by zrozumieć co i jak. Uwielbiam jednak jej klimat i złożoność. Nie będzie jednak przez to dla wszystkich, by w nią naprawdę zacząć dobrze grać trzeba spędzić te dziesiątki godzin i obejrzeć różne poradniki.

While it's a game that's a bit rough around the edges and can be hard at first to get into, its really enjoyable for me and scratches that 'management in space' itch. It's really pleasing to see new colonies appear and transport everything that is needed to get them to prosperity. Getting new ships and setting their cargo bays is nice. The downside is that the game starts to be boring after you overcome initial challenges, there is just more routes to be set and clicking to get things done. If there would be more building and colony development options, maybe basic politics and more complex security mechanics. there would be more variety to what is happening at the given time. Maybe even alien civilizations could appear. Still, I would recommend this game for people that like management sims as I enjoyed it..

After playing the game for few hours and finishing Spanish campaign, I feel like I can give an adequate review.
I like it, its fun to build up cities, lay out the shipping routes and build your empire. Graphics and details are really good. As an veteran of the series I notice the lack of few things I liked in older games like tavern missions, active city sieges by sea (fighting towers) and land battles to conquest towns. I understand that changes were made due to new artistic vision and I agree with most of them. Naval battles are tacitcal now and you feel that each ship has its role and you cannot really cheese them anymore. I really like it as it resembles history more, also love the new abilities for ships and captains. I noticed that sometimes you can have some lag or soft lock of the game when you enter saves, but it happened only once or twice. What I really miss is the ability to build new towns (or I did not find it/notice it?) but with the change that you are an agent of the crown, you get access to most of similar features right away. I just would like to place new cities from scratch, to have more of them. Maybe it would be great to have an freelance agent option also, the same way as in the past games. Wish there was more city warfare aspects like building forts, walls, towers or garrison.
Also fun fact, initially I disliked some of changes made comparing to older games but after few hours of learning them, I understood that newer approach has some advantages and had similar fun as in the past.

Awesome puzzle game and it feels pretty rewarding to salvage a big ship completely. However, sometimes it can be annoying, when you can't find what else is holding the section you want to dislodge or you mess up with the laser and something blows up. The lore of the world is great too, really enjoying it so far. Looking forward to future updates and maybe content dlcs in the future after early access.

Excellent reimagination and expansion of Half Life.

It's really good now. Peace time is engaging the same way as warfare. You can play tall and it is fun the same as playing wide. I glady recommend this game in this state.
