So glad I didn't buy the season pass. Requesting a refund on this one. Soooo boring. I do like Owlcat, but I do not enjoy their DLCs as a rule. I had hopped I would like this one, but I didn't. I enjoy risk and reward, this does not do that. You can up the enemy's, both in number and power, but you are not rewarded for it. You get 1 to 10 exps per kill, you get a ton more exps for just rushing thru the islands. The fights are not very interesting. You don't get to pick your weapons and armor at the start, they just hand you stuff. You don't have access to a shop at all for the first go thru of the islands, so you are stuck playing a character the way the Dev wants and not how you want. I guess I will let them play their game, and I will go find another that lets me play the way I want, with the equipment I want.

This game slipped pasted my radar. A friend recommended it to me. I was not all that excited about it, but decided to give it a try. It really took me by surprise, my evening was over before I knew and I didn't want to go to bed, I wanted to keep on playing! This game has a lot more to it then I expected. You can a just a lot of thing, attributes, skills, abilities, items, and more. So it you like a RPG with a lot of customization, this game is for you!

Eador has so much content you never seem to be stuck in a rut. You can play it many times and do things differnt everytime so it never seems stale. It has so many unit to choose from and they are not all a copy of each other. If I have an elf and I run into another elf in the game, that elf is not likely to be the same at all. It will have differnt stats and ablities. If I keep my elf around it just keeps getting better. You also have many differnt items to use with your heros it must be in the hundreds maybe more. I have not yet play a game were I have not seen somehting new. If you like the RPG stratagy gene this one is a must!

This game is so fun and so hard. You will really be put to the test. I can't say there is another game like it. You have a lot of option on how best to defend your base. You can develope new unit and buildings as the game goes on. Just because you have a new shinny building does not mean it’s the best choise, you need to think about and plan every build and move. This game does not frustrate me when I lose, and I lose every time :). The end wave is just so overwhelming, preventing the undead from breaching anywhere is a real challenge, you will not be bored. If one Zombie get past you it can be game over if you are not preparade, the infection rate is fast.

This game is not for the faint hearted.

Do you like fun? Do you like to laugh and smile? Well this is the game for you! There is so much packed into this game it is absolutely stock full of fun. I found myself planning on my next run getting excited about my next play threw even before I was half way thru the first game.
You have so many ways to make a character the way you want to play one, and if you don’t like what you did, you can easily make any change you want after act1. You will find so many ways to play this game you will likely play it over and over.
Tons of quests and almost everything is voiced over, plus they have great narration. Interesting charters and stories. So many items to pick from and a really good crafting system.
You should not let this one slip by, well unless you hate fun, in that case steer clear.

I think this is a pretty neat idea and I like most of the game, but I am still going to give this one a pass. For me I find the controls very awkward and not user friendly at all. This would be ok if you could pause it and give orders, but you can't. They need to make the controls rebind able or the game pause able to give ordered. If they don't want to do that, it is not so much a game as a frustration.

This game is still buggy. I had my main army turn into another contries army when I took over a country.
Also things that I do not believe are bugs, but poor game design.
You have to spy on a country to see how much VP it is worth. After a while you lose that knoledge, and have to spy again.
If you lose control of a coutry you no longer know its income or VP value.
You are given no clue about the size of a force that attacks you, just your casualties but not thiers. You do get to see casualties for other counties that fight against other players. Odd.

This is one of those games that deep down you know the people that created it have a passion for the game. Their is just so much content over all. I have beaten the game more then once and I still run into things I have not seen before. I do hope they make a DLC or upgrade for this game that has playmode for a standard 4x type, It would add many more hours of enjoyment. Many games that I have played have a lot of reading for the quests and event, as this game does, but most of those games have stale or borring text, but SK, the stories and events are fun and funny, This adds a lot of enjoyment to the game. If you like 4x games you will likely love SK.

The crafting system in this game is worth this extra tip alone. The free DLC are just a huge bonus!
