Combat can be a hit and miss depending on your preference but the story and characters are what sells the game for me. It does feel like you are playing through a Guardians Comic adventure and that is always a bonus.

So lets hope to see more of THIS and less of 'Marvel's Avengers' type stuff.

So many lies and half-made 'systems'. It is not a full game. It is a prototype. Even after a year, still not any better.

Didn't think I would be as invested in the game as I was. Kinda glad Activision screwed up and led me to Final Fantasy.

In what world ACTUALLY REMOVING CONTENT ( the main story stuff nontheless that people NEED to learn how the game plays and how the characters and the world works) is in any way a good idea?
If this is the future of these 'live Service' games, I want no damn part of it.

They literally put Epic games ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DRM and always online crap YEARS after the release. Screw you Square Enix

They keep shutting down the servers so you lose everything you put into the game. Last 2K I'll ever buy unless they stop doing that. Didn't bother with 2k20 or 2k21.

I've been dumb enough to fall for 2K's 'oh this will be better' lies for the last time. They are literally turning the game into PAY TO WIN, as they made it harder to earn VC without paying and the bugs that literally prevent you from earning VC, all the while the stuff you buy, you cannot prevent, you have to pay for Haircuts and beards etc with only 3 or 4 styles being free at the start ONLY and all of them suck. You start 60 OVR and can barely do anything, barely get enough minutes until 10-20 games and even then, unless you buy those ''VC bundles'' you cannot even reach 70 OVR without trying 'cheat' to get VC if you , rightfully so, won't wanna pay TWICE to 2K. Oh and they removed the bonus VC you get from higher difficulties...so there is literally no reason to play at the highest difficulty unless you wanna waste time or enjoy torture of unfair AI and awful teammate grades, not being able to make any shots etc.

For game to be 'enjoyable', you have to get the LEGENDARY or LEGENDARY GOLD edition and all that VC to be a DECENT player. Grind is worse than before. The only positive improvement I can call the ''neighbourhood'' can cause loading problems because of the servers and so on.

If you are smart, don't make the same mistake I did and buy the game right now...or ever until 2K learns that their ''a bit more VC dive''. I would honestly try NBA Live 18 this year since at least they look more ''reasonable''. The monopoly 2K had on the market finally pushed them to the extreme.

With the resurgence of Star War, there should be a remaster or even a sequel for one of the best Star Wars games ever made. You actually feel the bigger scale with great Space Battles and ..subpar but still fun ground battles.

Campaign is great and makes it worth playing over and over.

Just remaster it already !

3 Years later and it still feels like a new game with the updates.
