Insanely fun with VR. Just ok with gamepad. Probably one of the best VR games money can buy right now

This game is beautiful, and fun to play. Would have liked a little more action requiring gas masks like in last light but overall just incredibly good looking and a fun experience. The looting, exploring, tension, lighting, fighting, and more are all just so good.

If you like this, try out the other metro games or the STALKER series.

Early Access Review
Theres optimization issues inherit to an early access game but for the most part runs well. There are some server connection issues but for the most part netcode is good.

The game itself is extremely fun, especially when you get good squadmates and team leader. I got this game on sale because I was craving a modern shooter, and it scratched that itch perfectly. Definitely reccommend trying out, the community is really great with new players.
