Not worth 69.99. Combat is a lot of fun but there's a lot of polishing needed. A full price game absolutely should not have micro transactions even if it's just a short cut to get in game items especially when the game feels rushed.

We laughed. We cried. We screamed. Super unique game, can't wait to see what it looks like with further updates because its already top tier co-op fun. Game of the year for sure.

Missing tons of features that were staples of the series. Completely out of touch with the franchise its following up. The multiplayer is okay but it just falls way short of what I expect from a Halo game. Maybe I'll revisit it when Forge comes out.

Amazing game with an incredibly innovative and fun gameplay loop. I typically don't enjoy FPS's but the mix of fps and strategy is really interesting and the option to queue for either turn based or simultaneous play leaves options for people like myself as well as those who are more adept at fps games. My only criticism is not of the game itself but a problem that I encounter frequently in matchmaking where players are very likely to quit before even finishing a half of a match if they aren't winning (Which is the dumbest thing ever in a game where you can literally rectify your mistakes in subsequent rounds.). I think there needs to be some sort of punitive measure taken against people who abandon matches too often. Overall excellent game and my favorite fps to date.

Fun relaxing game to chill out with, its repetitive but enjoyable and there's a nice bit of progression in the game with the devs appearing to be keeping up with it. However, there is an issue with frequent crashes which I have encountered on multiple PCs so be wary if that's an issue for you.

Very addictive combination of some of my favorite genres. If I had to compare it to existing titles I'd say it's the glorious spawn of Black & White and Rimworld with extra attention given to the tower defense aspect of Rimworld. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The Weave system seems like a lot of fun but the matchmaking makes it unplayable. My friend and I have not found a party to date. The system will give you one player after 20 minutes of searching only to have them appear as a Stormfiend kills you and makes the new party member drop out immediately. I feel like it could be enjoyable if it were possible to actually play with a 4 man party.

Excellent game. Yes it is very different from it's predecessors but DoW III is tons of fun. The game feels and looks amazing with a fun campaign as well as solid multiplayer. The Skulls currency and xp for your elites are easily obtainable from single player as well as multiplayer and the customization is a lot of fun to tinker with. My biggest criticisms would probably be that the cover system is very limited when Relic has already shown they can do better in previous titles and the lack of some sort of competitive multiplayer mode.

TL;DR Not a true sequel but still a great game. Minor flaws but worth the money if you can handle it not being the same as the predecessors.
