Great game, solid gameplay, love the art style.

However, it is severly lacking in content. Only 4 bosses, 4 weapon types and not much variety in how you play.
Still though, for the discounted price, I guess it's worth the money for some hours of fun.

This might be the best purchase I've done for VR ever.

People who compare this to Boneworks, Blade & Sorcery etc. are all WRONG, this is WAY better & has much more to offer.

This game has the most realistic (in a very good way) combat & weapon mechanics I've ever seen in VR, the spells works great & there is plenty to do in the game. Sure it could use more variety when it comes to levels & enemies, but overall this game is the absolute best you'll get if you like using medieval weapons, spells & general dungeon crawlers.

The developers have thought about many things for the combat, the looting & the co-op experience, I have to say that I truly hope they will make another with slightly better graphic, more weapons (weapon types), enemies & more exciting maps, but keeping all the core mechanics & simply make them even better.

if you play this with just 1 friend, there is simply no way you'll regret buying this. Personally I can't play Blade & Sorcery anymore, because the mechanics in that game is just so bad & poorly made, compared to Legendary Tales.

WELL DONE DEVELOPERS! I CAN TELL ALREADY ;IF YOU MAKE A NEW GAME LIKE THIS, AND IMPROVE UPON IT, I'll BE THE VERY FIRST TO BUY IT.

If Bethesda made Skyrim VR with the mechanics of this game, from enemies, combat, spells etc. etc. then that would not only be the best VR game ever, but very literally the best game ever made.

Urban Wolf Games Inc. Good job! Please do make a follow up game that improves upon everything you've done here, without getting greedy & just milking your future titles, because you truly have something great & unique here and can become really REALLY big within the VR industry.

I rarely leave reviews, but this game deserved it 100%.

This game is still very dear to my heart, almost as much as CS 1.6, the game is a billion times worse than it was before any class updates, stupid hats, going F2P and so on and so on, but still.. the gameplay is solid, the maps are great (most of them), the game is just fun, great, competitive and I still very much love it.

Only thing is, it's basically dead when it comes to competitive play and the amount of good players is close to 0% , but if you have never tried TF2 before, then you simply must, even though the experience might not be that great compared to us who bought it and played it when it was at it's prime, it's still worth the experience and it's just amazing nonetheless.

Extremely overhyped.
Ok fun game, but way way WAY overhyped.

Also the controls for slowmotion on the Rift S controllers is horrible.. place it on the right controller, not the left one.. you don't need two "menu" buttons.

They've worked on this game for soooo many years, and honestly, it's a huge disappointment with many MANY flaws and really lackluster when it comes to content.

People are overexaggerating this game so much.. it's okay fun for like 5 mins and that's it, nothing special, nothing new, and people talking about this as if the gameplay was super fluent and perfect.. it's just spamming m1 and m2, that's it, the flying feels okay, but like... there is nothing to it

Try it, fun for 5 min, but then that's that, there is nothing to get overhyped about here.

SPARC - Free Weekend experience:

Pros:

- Fun
- Great costumizability for your character
- eSport ready
- Great visually

Cons:

- Still very few playesr (unfortunately, the game definitely deserves A LOT of attention, personally I find this much better than let's say, Echo Arena)
- Could add some "abilities" that could somehow change the game up doing a match, I'm not sure what exactly, that obviously would have to be greatly considered, so it wouldn't suddenly make a match unfair, but that is something to think about
- Ball/Throwing physics could be ehanced a little

EXTRA for the developers as well:

If I were you, I would highly consider a 2v2 game mode (also potentially for eSport) would considerably change the attention towards this game, 1v1 is great, but 2v2 would make people want to compete more and there should be ways to somehow play together/help each other ingame.

Overall, game has a lot of promise and though it's been out for a long time and I only just tried it, I believe that there is good things coming it's way, personally I do not think it's worth 20 euro BECAUSE the player base is so limited.

I DO HOWEVER, 100% recommend this game.

Don't mind my play hours, I've played this on console for a lot more hours, but I can't stand playing on consoles, so decided to get it here.

_________________________________________

Game is really not that bad, it's pretty decent, fun and looks good. And I do recommend it, so I'm mostly just going to cover the cons and what could be improved:

- Better and more fitting characters, to what they are. (e.g. Goku is not so big and bodybuilder like)
- More characters (while 40 + 9 is alright, they really could cover A LOT more)
- Gameplay could be a bit better and more in depth (but overall, it's just fine and quite fun)
- Poor Console Port for PC (no PC icons for you to know which buttons to press, you can't remap the buttons to use the mouse buttons either)
- More costumization options for your character (really lacks in e.g. the hair department and clothing should be a bigger deal as well).
- E.g for my character, I would like the Naruto hair, but in MY hair color, allow for such things as well
- ALSO, allow one to choose a character which fighting style you want.. I mean, this can't in any way be hard to implement, since the fighting style is already there for the characters (Goku, Deku, Naruto etc. etc.)
- No co-op (you and a mate(s) vs PvE, waves of enemies etc. etc.)

I could go on really, and I could also say more positive things, but over all.. I just grabbed this game on the Steam Summer sale and for that price, I think it's worth it. However, it is a tricky one and I do recommend the game if you have enough money and don't know what to spent it on, definitely.. but overall, it's still a "no" from here, so I do recommend.. but not really ;D (confused? ye, me too)

Game isn't really worth the full price, maybe Jump Force 2 and if they fix the things I just mentioned, also.. would really love some Co-op options for games like this

UPDATE: Decided to recommend, because they game is just really fun and enjoyable, though I do hope they make a JUMP FORCE 2 and make it even better, but this is great and fun. Also the graphics are STUNNING

ONE MORE THING!

They should allow for more abilities, e.g. allow you to press one of the sticks to switch to a second set of 4 abilities, so you can have 8 pr. character. VERY IMPORTANT!

SECOND UPDATE:

After having tried online play, I can no longer recommend this game. It is filled with people who are ♥♥♥♥ at gaming, but just use OP spamming abilities constnatly, the game is horribly unbalanced when playing online.

Pros & Cons - Simple review + explanation for result.
__________________________________

Pros:

- Decent gameplay and weapon handling
- Fun
- Somewhat alright physics

Cons:

- Lacking Co-op (this is 100% needed, NOT multiplayer, but simply pure Co-op)
- Gameplay / Weapon handling could DEFINITELY improve
- Need more maps & More costumization for the waves (e.g. I would like a wave that ONLY give you 1v1s against either Hand 2 hand combat people (which isn't even in the game, despite you being able to smack them around, and there is a list called "1v1" but that doesn't give you 1v1 either, and I would like to have such things with just normal enemies (no shield, archers or mages) as well
- Lacking Weapons (the game really need A LOT more weapons to choose from, including simple things as a Bo-staff and many.. MANY others.
- Weak throwing system (you can really only throw the knifes properly and even that, is a little weird.. surely, you can find different ways of still throwing any other weapon as well, but it's not as simple as it would be in real life.. because the mechanics simply isn't there, for some reason).
- Game is very demanding, I have a great i7 processor and a gtx 1080, but if I choose the endless waves, it doesn't take long before the amount of items and bodies makes the game lag
- Needs workshop (right now, you can go to different sites and get mods for the game, but it needs workshop to get better mods and a wider audience)

_____________________________________________

So why this is a NO, for now:

Thing is, the game has a lot of potential and despite needing all those things (which it DEFINITELY does), it seems to have an active man/team behind it who constantly try to improve the game, so far I haven't seen him/them listen much to reviews such as this, which they really should.. but nonetheless, the game is fun and even though it's not currently worth the price, it might be in the future and no matter what, you will have a fun time.

Developers, read and listen, thank you

------------

2023:
Nothing has really changed, what so ever. Despite the updates, it feels & plays the exact same. Fun for an hour and then that's that.

Pretty decent, wish there were actual co-op that allowed you to play the missions together and plan to go for different or the same targets, to help each other.. e.g. one could distract some guards while the other sneak in, but in this, there is only this 1v1 ghost mode and that's not really good.

For the single-player experience, it's a solid Hitman experience and you know what you are getting, I recommend it.

As a pro gamer across genres and games, I can easily and honestly tell you.. that this software/game is not going to improve you in any real way.. some extremely bad and new players MIGHT find it helpful, but if you want to actually have a software to improve your aiming, reflexes and more.. go with "Kovaaks fps aim trainer" it is MUCH better.

Aim lab provides nothing real, and most of it's statistics are useless and out of context to what task you are actually doing, would never recommend this to any serious gamer. + Aim lab locks you in 1 spot for basically everything, which isn't a serious scenario, though you might also use another software to train like this.. a step up in a challenge would be to not just stand still and aim, but to strafe and aim, which this doesn't allow you either.

Kovaaks fps aim trainer: Solid tasks that allows you to improve memory, strafe, aim, reflexes and more.. all while you can also move around yourself. This basically is so much better than Aim lab, that the comparison shouldn't even be made, but oh well..

Go with "Kovaaks fps aim trainer" it costs very little and you will gain so much more. Best of luck.

Edit (respond to developer): I saw barely any that allowed you to move, but EVEN IF.. you could move in every single "challenge/training" in Aim Lab, it's horribly mediocre and every other point I made is still standing.
