You think I have 2700 hours logged because the game is bad lol?

One tip for new players: Don't try to farm too hard. Accept not farming for some things. Just play the game and have fun and stop playing a game mode when it stops being fun. Video games are for having fun, not for unlocking everything.

Phenomenal game. Maybe the best-written game I've played. Investigates art, philosophy, and politics in a mature, nuanced manner that makes you question not only what you think, but how you think. Also you get to drink and do drugs on the job as a cop.

Lotta Castlevania vibes from this, but I like it way more than Castlevania.

This game is the truest spiritual successor to the original Deus Ex there is. No other game I've played has captured the experience of the Deus Ex the way this game does. The writing is phenomenal, the universe really feels alive. As a science fiction story, I would say it's top tier by video game standards. The stealth gameplaye and gunplay are fun, but the upgrade system really shines. If you loved Deus Ex and didn't like Human Revolution, this is the game you've been looking for.

If you like old school space sims, you'll like this. If not, you probably won't. Flying around stars and planets in VR sure is beautiful though.

Early Access Review
This game is currently the best rated game on Steam ever, and it deserves it. Even with just ten songs, it's worth every penny at full price. Don't neglect to check out No Arrows mode as well, it's not just the regular pattern without arrows. Lives up to the hype 10/10

Also, I am playing it with an Acer WMR headset and don't yet have the April 2018 Windows update that's supposed to add haptics. The headset has some minor controller tracking issues, so you might have a hard time getting onto leaderboards with a low end WMR headset, but it's perfectly playable.

This game is an absolute gem. Despite being a huge fan of Metroid, I never really got into other Metroidvania games. Most don't hold my attention for very long. Not this one though, this one was awesome to the end.

Axiom Verge, from the art, to the music, to the gameplay, is a beautiful homage to Metroid while never once feeling like a clone. It has no shortage of its own unique mechanics that it utlizes well. The artwork and music are absolutely excellent in their own right as well. I don't listen to a lot of video game soundtracks, but I find myself coming back to this one. It's on Spotify btw, and I recommend checking it out even if you don't buy the game.

If you like Civ, Warcraft 3, and tactical RPGs, you'll like this. You'll like it even more if you like D&D, as the world is very much in the style of classic D&D fantasy.

If you liked console platformers in the 90s and 00s, buy this game. The gameplay and controls very tight and polished, the visuals are beautiful, and the world is fun and interesting. The world has a similar vibe as Mario Sunshine, which I love. The boxes are quite amusing and I've laughed out loud at many of the jokes. Honestly, the only part of this game that isn't super polished and amazing is the cutscenes, and they're not really that important anyway. The camera is a bit wonky of course, but that's just an inherent part of any 3D platformer. Overall the camera is still quite good and better than most classic games.

Damn these gameplay mechanics are poor. The shifting thing is kind of a neat twist, but as a bullet hell game, this one is pretty bad. Very simplistic, with frequently confusing camera perspectives.
