Most important note is that the game does not implement the complete ruleset of Blood Bowl as we have it on tabletop. Skills missing, core progression mechanics changed because the developer thinks they improve the design. If you want to play Blood Bowl online and care not for fancy graphics, take a look at the FUMBBL website.

The quality of this software reminds me of the times I was working at a software dev consulting firm. The devs didn't have enough time to finish the feature, so they hard-coded error messages on buttons that would use the unimplemented features. This way the KPIs were extended and instead of doing the work well and on time, the company had a few more months to rush things out.

BB3 is full of features that are there in button form but do not work, or not to a quality that one would expect. UI feels like we are in 2005, and instead of drag-and-drop reorganising of a roaster you have to click on dedicated buttons to do so. Nigling Injury is not showing on the skills tab, it only shows on the profile images of the players when you hover over their stats. So at a glance, your roster is not giving you perfect information of the state of your team.

When you random a skill, in Blood Bowl, that skill will be worth half Team Value as if you have chosen it deliberately. The BB3 developers changed this progression on the open ladder for their own reasons, reason they promised to back with data but have not to this day. The meta is stale and will be lukewarm for years as the teams are rolled out 4 a year in hopes of long term monetisation of the product.

I have abandoned this game now, and will not play it anymore. If you are a friend of mine, find me on FUMBBL so we can play the complete experience, not this unloved child that was given life against the wishes of everyone involved.
