After only 6 hours i cannot recommend this game, although the combat is compelling and the enemies evolving is a lot of fun those are the only positives i can think of for this game right now. The graphics are mostly ugly, compared to other games in the unity engine, the color palette of the maps is hideous with a mix of browns, grays and murky greens starkly contrasted to the vibrant colors of XCOM 2, basically every map in Phoenix Point looks like the ruined lost infected city maps in War of the Chosen and the character customization is a joke compared to XCOM 2. I really wanted to like this game because the combat feels a lot more tactical compared to the alpha strike gameplay of XCOM 2 and i tried but the awful character models, the corny dialogue your soldiers spew during missions with pretty below average voice acting makes this game a miss, Julian Gollop made a crappy gray game that doesn't even get close to what XCOM 2 did for the genre, do not buy Julians gray game. 4/10

♥♥♥♥ this game, theyre asking for you to buy the campaigns, which should have been in the game from the start, this is some of the most disgusting and greedy behavior ive seen on steam, this shouldnt even be a game its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mod for men of war, devs deleting comments and negative reviews of their tank DLC, is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous, do not buy this piece of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage
